openings at PA Small based at the DuBois location (1 Tom Mix Drive).

CONTROLS PROGRAMMING ENGINEER
Minimum Requirement of Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
experience along with three (3) years’ experience.
• This position is accountable for electrical engineering support to
manufacturing, continuous improvement efforts, and equipment improvement
efforts, purchase, or major repair of production equipment.
• Responsible for engineering assigned projects from start to completion.
• Troubleshoots facility and equipment projects and reviews purchases, as may
be assigned.
• Repairs electronic equipment, which may involve instructing maintenance
electricians, contact with vendors, electronic bench work, or hand-on repair
of equipment on the production floor.
• Designs and consults on electrical and electronic circuits on new equipment
and any revision to current equipment.

DIE SETTERS

• Must be able to set up mechanical presses (Powder Metal Molding or Sizing)
with proper dies and tools and to make press adjustments as needed to
produce a good part per control plans and customer critical characteristics.
• Verify proper mix / raw materials are loaded to press and press is in good
operational / maintenance condition before starting to mold or size parts.
• Participate and maintain a Total Preventative Maintenance Program.
Understand Control Charts, SPC; Basic Blueprint Reading and GD&T.
Understand the customer needs and expectations. Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
• Candidate will work a 4 Day-12-Hour Shift. Day Shift (5a-5p); Night Shift
(5p-5a) paying $.75 per hour shift differential for Night Shift.
• Qualified applicants will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
GKN is offering a “$500 Sign on Bonus” to be paid out after 90-day trial period
is completed for the positions advertised.
