PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to the “Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act” and the “Clean Stream Law”, notice is hereby given that Rob Holland Enterprises, 52 Holland Lane, Curwensville, PA 16833 has made application to the PA Department of Environmental Protection to change the post-mining Land Use on SMP No. 17814000 in Penn Township, Clearfield County.

The Graham Operation was originally issued on 3/01/1984 and is located on the south side of T-356 (Ridge Road) beginning approximately 3,100 feet southwest of its intersection with SR 3011 (Irishtown Road) and extending toward the southwest approximately 3,000 feet on the property of the PA Game Commission as shown on the Mahaffey, PA and Luthersburg, PA 7.5’ USGS topographic maps.

A land use change is being requested for a 23.8-acre area affected by surface mining. The area being requested for change is currently considered Forestland. Upon completion of surface mining, this area will be reclaimed to Unmanaged Natural Habitat, which is the landowner’s desired usage.

The application, plans and other data concerning this application are available for public inspection at the PA Department of Environmental Protection, Moshannon District Mining Office, 186 Enterprise Drive, Phillipsburg, PA 16866. Written comments, objections and requests for an informal conference concerning this bond releases or the land use change may be submitted to the PA Department of Environmental Protection, Moshannon District Mining Office, 186 Enterprise Drive, Phillipsburg, PA 16866 within thirty (30) days from the date of the final (4th) publication of this notice and must include the person’s name, address, telephone number and a brief statement as to the nature of the objection(s).
