HYDE — The Philipsburg-Osceola girls golf team captured the Mountain League title with a win at the Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club on Wednesday.

The Lady Mounties carded a 140 as a team, with Lacey Potter leading the way with a 46. Halle Herrington (47) and Mackenzie Podliski (47) also scored for P-O.

Lindsey Bordas (58) and Katie Lingle (60) also participated for Philipsburg-Osceola.

Hollidaysburg was second with a 172, while Bellefonte took third with a 173. Penns Valley placed fourth with a 180, while Clearfield finished with a 182.

The Lady Bison were led by Josie Grice’s round of 59. Christina McGinnis had a 61, while Kate Barnes carded a 62. McLain Alt also had a 62 for Clearfield.
