WEST DECATUR — JoAnn Kolp, 60, of West Decatur, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at her residence.
Born June 13, 1958 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late John B. “Jack” Bumbarger and Margaret Smelik who survives in West Decatur.
On Sept. 4, 1999, in West Decatur, she wed John H. Kolp, who survives in West Decatur.
Along with her mother and her husband, she is survived by her children, Trish A. Worden and husband Rickie, Mill Hall; her son, Mark S. Bumbarger, AZ; her grandchildren, Haden John Heichel, Mason A. Worden, Austin M. Worden; and her sister, Tammy Martin and husband Joseph, Drifting; and their children, Alyssa Null and Joey Martin.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew S. McCracken; maternal grandparents, Steve and Anna Smelik; and paternal grandparents, Basil and Elva Bumbarger.
Mrs. Kolp was of the Methodist Faith and was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother and she loved and took pride in taking care of her family. She was very artistic and loved to fish and could out fish anyone.
The family would like to thank the hospice, nurses, Dr. Fu and his nurses, volunteers and staff at Yingling Cancer Center, Clearfield.
There will be no public funeral services.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
Burial will be at a later date in Askey Cemetery, Moshannon.
