ELEANOR MASISAK

HOUTZDALE — Eleanor Masisak, 73, of Houtzdale died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 at Penn Highlands-Elk in St. Marys, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Born Jan. 18, 1945 in Houtzdale, she was a son of the late James and Ruth (Goss) Boulton.

Eleanor was a homemaker and a former volunteer for the Fresh Air Fund Program.

She enjoyed building puzzles, going to yard sales and camping with family and friends.

On July 22, 1966 in Madera, she married Richard Masisak, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2008.

Eleanor is survived by five children, Tina (Tim) Stine of Smithmill, Thomas “Butch” (Kim) Arthurs of Osceola Mills, Ronald Arthurs and his companion Jeanne DeNike of Williamson, N.Y., Veronica Masisak of Houtzdale, and John Masisak and wife Rhonda Havranek of Ontario, N.Y.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Miranda (Jason) Sidorick, Danelle (Scott) Berg, Ashley (Josh) Gray, Brandon (Traci) Arthurs, Katie Arthurs, Courtney Arthurs, Jason Masisak, Matt Reams, Jessica Masisak and Laura Masisak; along with six great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Sidorick, Ella Berg, Ryleigh Gray, Sierra Arthurs, Teegan, Dominic and Ava Arthurs.

Eleanor was the last member of her immediate family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; a grandson, Matthew Arthurs; a great-granddaughter, Mckenia Arthurs; brothers, James, Harold and Donald Boulton; and a sister, Ruth Ann Boulton.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating.

Friends will be received Saturday from noon until the time of service.
