State Police at Clearfield
A pedestrian suffered suspected minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Shop-N-Save parking lot in Woodward Township. Wednesday at 10 a.m. A 66-year-old Houtzdale woman was struck by a 2019 Chevrolet Impala operated by Sandra Servenak, 74, of Morann.
The pedestrian was transported by Madera Volunteer Ambulance to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Police responded to Carbon Mine Road for a report of stalking and harassment involving a 27-year-old female and a 34-year-old male. Police spoke to both parties and told the female to have no further contact with the male.
On July 2, police responded to assist Lawrence Fire Department with a burning violation on Carrs Hill Road. Upon arrival police found Tim and Tom Smeal, both of Clearfield, set a fire to an approximate 40-foot mobile home in an attempt to dispose of the blighted property. During the investigation police found the individuals did not apply for a disposal permit and had no prior approval from the Department of Environmental Protection. Charges for dangerous burning were filed. Police were assisted by the PSP Fire Marshall.
On June 26, police responded to the Penn Highlands Hospital, Clearfield, for a simple assault that occurred at the Clearfield County Jail. Officers learned that an inmate had been beaten by two other inmates, causing injuries to his face. The investigation is ongoing and charges will be filed.

On June 30 at 6 p.m., police investigated a report of an harassment between both Elizabeth Well, 78, of Reynoldsville and Beth McGee, 51, of Reynoldsville. Both parties stated they were shoved by each other during a property dispute. Harassment charges were filed against both parties.
On June 4 at 1:20 p.m., Avinash Madhavamurthy, 26 of Piscataway, New Jersey was puller over while traveling east on Interstate 80 in Pine Township. When contact was made with Madhavamurthy a strong scent of marijuana came from within the car. After further investigation it was determined, that Madhavamurthy had been driving under the influence of marijuana. Marijuana was also found within the vehicle.
On June 26 at 8:24 p.m., police received a call regarding an intoxicated female who sustained a head injury while at Bilgers Rocks. Further, she was being combative with fire and medical services as they were attempting to treat her for injuries. She was flown from the scene to UPMC Altoona and will be cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
State Police at Punxsy
Wednesday at 4:34 p.m. Gavin Lingenfelter, 18, of DuBois was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger north on Paradise Road in Henderson Township, Jefferson County when the vehicle traveled into the southbound lane, went off the berm and into a ditch. Lingenfelter was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The vehicle was removed by Bricen Towing.
State Police at Ridgway
Between June 28 at 11 p.m. and June 29 at 5 a.m., an unknown suspect cut a tree down at Red Fox Lane and Lauren Mill Road, Ridgway Township, Elk County. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Ridgway at 814-776-6136. Investigation continues.
Police responded to a crash on Tuesday at 5:32 p.m. in Ridgway Township, Elk County. This crash occurred as a 2017 KIA Forte driven by Darlene M. Mulkey, 59, of Johnstown, was traveling South on State Route 219, south of State Route 255, negotiating a slight left hand curve. Mulkey’s vehicle traveled across the north bound lane of traffic, leaving the south side of the roadway where it struck a boulder. The vehicle then overturned and landed on the driver’s side. Mulkey had to be extricated from the vehicle by Johnsonburg Fire Department.
