DUBOIS  - The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C, DuBois, continue their search for Joey Lynn Offutt, 33.

On July 12, the Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal investigated a fire that occurred at 90 Dr. Fugate Drive, Sykesville. The fire destroyed a large portion of the residence. In the course of the fire investigation the remains of an infant were located inside the residence.

Ms. Offutt, a resident of the home, has not been seen since prior to the fire. Investigators believe there are suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance and have a concern for her welfare.

Her vehicle, a red 1994 Saturn Coupe with Virginia registration JXN8871, was located near the Nittany Gardens Apartments in State College.

Ms. Offutt has a speech impairment (lisp) and is known to frequent the State College and Winchester areas of Pennsylvania. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, approximately 110 pounds, with medium length brown hair, which may have changed.
