State police at DuBois
Rodney Rougeux of Clearfield was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident yesterday at 9:45 a.m. in Sandy Township when he was traveling east on Interstate 80 and his vehicle tire blew out.
His vehicle swerved off the right berm, struck a guide rail and overturned.

The investigation continues in the theft of a cell phone from an individual on Beaver Meadow Walkway.
Officers are investigating after a Falls Creek man reported an assault that allegedly occurred in the Giant Eagle parking lot.

State police at Ridgway
Retail theft and theft by deception were reported after a Clearfield woman entered Walmart in Fox Township, Elk County, Friday at approximately 1:30 p.m. and selected an electric razor, valued at $190.74. She removed the barcode from a set of sheets, valued at $12, put the barcode on the razor, went to the self checkout and purchased the razor for the price of the sheets. Minutes later, she re-entered the store and returned the item for the full value of $190.74.
