State police at Clearfield
On Friday at 3:21 p.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred in Pine Township. Christine Klinger of Reynoldsville attempted to turn left from U.S. Route 322 onto state Route 153 north when she pulled her vehicle out in front of and struck a vehicle driven by Douglas Sharpless of Clearfield. Klinger didn't see Sharpless' vehicle in the passing lane of SR 153 south because another vehicle was turning from a slowing lane of traffic. Klinger and Sharpless were not injured. A passenger in Sharpless' vehicle was transported by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services to DuBois Regional Medical Center for neck pain.

In an incident of harassment, Clifford Leskovansky and Matthew Rockey, both of Clearfield County, engaged in a physical altercation yesterday at 12:43 p.m. on Limb Road in Morrisdale.

Someone broke into a shed at a Caledonia Pike campsite in Girard Township between May 26 and Wednesday and stole bicycles, gas cans, a chain saw, extension cords, shop light and garbage can. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.

The investigation continues after someone removed six fence posts and 16 fence rails, valued at $600, from Woodland Park between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Saturday.

Between noon Wednesday and 9 a.m. Saturday, someone poured an unknown amount of bleach into a Grampian man's well along East Hepburnia Road and fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Justin Yost at 857-3800.

During a traffic stop on SR 153 in Boggs Township Saturday at approximately 2:40 a.m., Joseph Montes of Philipsburg failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for driving under the influence. He was taken to the police station for a legal breath sample, which revealed he had a blood alcohol content of .11 percent.

Brandy Baney of Houtzdale reported an act of criminal mischief in which someone cut the brake lines on her vehicle Saturday between 1-2 a.m. while it was parked on Beaver Drive in Decatur Township. She reported hearing her dogs barking and someone spinning their vehicle tires at the end of the driveway. Troopers are seeking more information.

Following a traffic stop yesterday at 9:20 p.m. on Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 122.6 in Bradford Township, Henri Brossard of Frenchville was arrested for DUI.

Yesterday at 6:39 p.m., Joseph Guy and Jason Yoder, both of Philipsburg, were involved in a physical altercation and citations for harassment were filed.

Clearfield Boro
Officers assisted the fire department with a reported structure fire on School Avenue and found a motorcycle in front of the residence had caught fire. It was extinguished with the help of a neighbor.

Retail theft occurred at J.G. Food Warehouse in which a known man took a bag of candy, placed it in his pocket, and employees later confronted him, he handed over the item and left the store.

Unknown damage was reported after a fire alarm in the 200 block of South Second Street, where smoke was found on the second floor.

Two women were involved in an altercation along East Market Street and one woman was taken to Clearfield Hospital for evaluation of her injuries.

The owner of a dog that was running around and barking in the early morning hours along Turnpike Avenue was contacted and advised to take the dog in for the morning.

Police received a report that an individual found their bike on Daisy Street that had been reported missing.

A complaint of a barking dog was reported on Merrill Street, where police spoke with several other neighbors and it was unfounded.

Passing motorists reported large fireworks in the East Seventh Street area that startled them.

Officers removed a traffic hazard found on the Market Street Bridge.

Lawrence Township
Assistance was given to a motorist at Walmart Supercenter.

A lost cell phone was located and returned to its owner.

Police received a call from a Byers Street resident regarding a motion light that was installed by a neighbor.

Clearfield EMS assisted police with a psychological emergency at Lawrence Park Village.

The investigation continues in an incident of burglary in the Glen Richey area, and officers made contact with the owner.

Criminal trespass was reported on Race Street.

One man was arrested for DUI after a two-vehicle accident on Chester Street.

A woman was transported to Clearfield Hospital for an injury suffered on a previous occasion after a reported domestic incident in Hyde.

Harassment by communication occurred when a Bloomsburg woman allegedly texted an Ohio man regarding a child custody exchange issue from the Wolf Run Sheetz.

Fireworks were reported in the Village Road area; however, police checked the area and were unable to see or hear any fireworks there.

State police at Punxsy
Mason Miles of New Millport was not injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday at 4:25 p.m. in Chest Township when he drove off the left side of Rabbit Hill Road and his vehicle struck a telephone pole. He left the scene of the accident without notification, parked in a nearby driveway and fled the scene.

Curwensville Boro
All-terrain vehicles were reportedly being operated on McNaul Street, and police remind residents that anyone apprehended will be issued citations.

People in the Hill Street area Saturday evening were warned of their disorderly actions.

Those involved in a reported drug deal at Curwensville Commons were gone when police arrived.

Several juveniles being loud in the Curwensville Commons parking lot were advised to keep the noise down or they would be cited.

State police at Philipsburg
Cynthia Stiver reported someone went into a residence in the 600 block of Pauline Street between June 9-30 and removed a sterling silver ring with five emerald-cut diamonds, valued at $1,800. Anyone with information should contact police at 342-3370.

During a traffic stop on Interstate 99 at mile marker 68.4, police discovered the driver was in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

On Saturday, a pair of handcuffs was found in the woods near the State College airport.

State police at Ebensburg
Luke Iraca of Irvona was traveling south on SR 865 in Reade Township Thursday when he attempted to round a left curve, lost control of his vehicle and it struck a utility pole. A passenger, Sarah Wriglesworth of Curwensville, suffered minor injuries. Luke Iraca and another passenger, Alex Iraca, were not injured. Reade Fire Co. and Reade Area Ambulance assisted at the scene.
