Drug bust at Philipsburg residence
Wednesday, June 12, 2013
PHILIPSBURG - Members of the State Police Troop G Vice Unit conducted an investigation into the distribution of synthetic marijuana from a North Second Street residence in Philipsburg Borough between April 4 and yesterday.
State police at Philipsburg said they applied for a search warrant from Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair yesterday and executed that search warrant later in the day at 327 N. Second St.
Troopers seized about 5 pounds of green vegetable matter and chemicals utilized to manufacture synthetic marijuana and then seized synthetic marijuana, U.S. currency and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation continues in a 37-year-old man and 47-year-old woman and several other individuals found at the residence.
