State police at Clearfield
The investigation continues after a man attempted to harm himself Sunday when he ingested more than 300 lithium pills.

Will Sweed of Coalport reportedly suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident today at 4:45 a.m. in Coalport Borough. He swerved to avoid a dog in the street, his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, and struck and snapped off a utility pole at the base.

Lawrence Township
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at state Route 1001 and Riverview Road.

Officers interviewed witnesses and a person of interest in an incident of open lewdness and harassment.

Approximately $350 in merchandise was recovered by police, who have a person of interest.

Police resolved a report of theft at the scene in which a third party allegedly gave away a dog that they didn't have the authority to give away.

State police at DuBois
George Kutsel of DuBois suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Washington Township when he was traveling west on Interstate 80. He lost control of the vehicle when a tire lost air pressure, it traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Kutsel was transported via DuSan Emergency Medical Services to DuBois Regional Medical Center.

A one-vehicle accident occurred in Sandy Township April 9 when Dawn Russell of DuBois was traveling south on U.S. 219, drove off the right side of the road and her vehicle struck several shrubs and came to rest. Russell, who was wearing her seat belt, suffered minor injuries and was transported via ambulance to DuBois Regional Medical Center. Falls Creek and Brockway fire companies and Amserv/DuSan EMS assisted at the scene.

On Sunday at 2 a.m., a hit-and-run accident occurred in Brady Township when someone drove out of the Joe & Sal's Pizza parking lot and their vehicle struck an adjacent business sign and mailbox. The driver fled the scene on U.S. 322 west and a witness reported the vehicle is a light-colored, four-door sedan driven by a woman with light-colored hair. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 371-4652.

State police at Philipsburg
Between March 22 and Monday, someone entered an Old Tyrone Pike residence in Rush Township and removed a small fire-proof safe that contained prescription medicine from the bedroom. Anyone with information is being asked to contact police at 342-3370.

A Philipsburg woman reported someone entered her Pine Street apartment in Philipsburg Monday and stole prescription medication. The report was found to be false and charges of unsworn falsification to authorities and false reports to law enforcement authorities were filed.

The investigation continues after two Philipsburg juveniles were seen leaving a Philipsburg residence Friday between 4:30-5 p.m. following the theft of several sodas and cookies.

The hearing aid discovered Monday near the Philipsburg post office that was turned in to police can be claimed by contacting police.

The investigation continues in a domestic dispute that occurred Saturday at 11 p.m. along McKean Street in Unionville Borough. A woman reported a man sent her harassing text messages, a violation of a protection from abuse order. It was reported that the man had recently, on multiple occasions, initiated contact with the woman, also a PFA order violation.
He was taken into custody on the PFA violation and is currently housed in the Centre County Correctional Facility.
