State police at Clearfield
Charges were filed in an incident of aggravated assault/assault by a prisoner that occurred April 9. Ricardo Guzman, an inmate at State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale allegedly struck a Houtzdale man several times in the head and body, and he was treated for minor injuries at Clearfield Hospital.

Between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday, an incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred in Bradford Township. Someone removed two chainsaws, a Husquarvarna 390 and a Stihl .046 from a Woodland man's pickup while it was parked on Thompson Road. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.

A Coalport woman and Fallentimber woman were charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after a fight April 7 inside Coalport Nittany Minit Mart.

Yesterday at 10:48 a.m., someone stole four tires on a vehicle along Copelin Road in Decatur Township. Troopers ask anyone with information to call Trooper Justin Yost at 857-3800.

In an incident of burglary, someone gained access by force to a storage building along state Route 53 and Grassflat Avenue in Cooper Township between Jan. 18 and yesterday and stole a hot water tank. Anyone with information is asked to call the police.

Troopers are seeking more information in a hit-and-run accident that occurred yesterday at 3 p.m. on SR 879 in Penn Township. A driver lost control of their white Toyota Tundra extended cab pickup with a chrome front grill, it traveled off the road and onto private property, striking several items and causing monetary damage to the property. The vehicle might have some front-end damage and is missing its driver's side rear view mirror.

A woman reported she left her wallet on the counter at a Clearfield-Woodland Highway business and a known man picked it up and left with it.

Officers are investigating and have a witness in a hit-and-run accident on SR 879 near Sapp Bros.
A brown or bronze-colored pickup truck attempted to pass another vehicle while negotiating a curve when the pickup struck a vehicle operated by Donna Neff of Frenchville. The pickup didn't stop and continued east toward Shawville.

Officers assisted Clearfield Borough police with apprehending the Fugitive of the Week, and he was incarcerated in Clearfield County Jail.

State police at Punxsy
Someone entered a Byers Road residence in Burnside April 9 by breaking the glass on the front door and opening it from the inside after attempting to enter the back door and damaging it. Once inside, the individual(s) went through numerous closets, drawers and cupboards.
A Taurus Judge 45/410 revolver and four boxes of ammunition, Remington 1858 .44 caliber reproduction black powder pistol, two Navy Colt .36 caliber reproduction black powder pistols, two Army Colt new model reproduction black powder pistols, Walker Colt .45 caliber reproduction black powder pistol were removed.
In addition, a Sentry dial lock safe containing $300 cash, a coin collection, 100 wheat pennies, $5 silver certificate, six walking liberty half dollars and numerous personal documents, as well as a glass jug filled with approximately 600 dimes were stolen.

The investigation continues in an incident of harassment in which an unknown caller contacted Windy Hill Village in Rush Township yesterday at 10 a.m. and made a threat.
