State police at Clearfield
Troopers have a person of interest in an incident of theft in which $120 in cash was removed from an Allport man's wallet while he was driving on state Route 53.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with underage consumption after being found under the influence of alcohol Saturday at 2:30 a.m. in a Ridge Avenue yard in Pike Township.

A Woodland man reported his girlfriend borrowed his Kahr CW9, 9mm pistol and lost it during an all-terrain vehicle ride between March 9-16. Troopers ask that anyone who finds the pistol to call them at 857-3800.

The investigation continues after a Curwensville man allegedly provided alcohol to juveniles yesterday between 1-2:30 a.m. and sexually assaulted a Clearfield boy.

On Friday between 12:45-8:30 a.m., someone removed approximately $859 from Kelce's Bar in Chester Hill. Anyone with information is asked to call the police.

Officers checked the welfare of a woman along Williams Street and found she was OK.

Suspicious males reported at a Northwest Fourth Avenue residence were located a block away.

During a traffic detail over the weekend focusing on aggressive drivers during the afternoon and night, 20 traffic citations were issued for various traffic offenses. Three people were arrested and taken to jail on outstanding bench warrants; two people were arrested for underage consumption; and a juvenile was arrested for a drug violation.

State police at Philipsburg
Following a traffic stop March 8 at 3 a.m. on SR 350 near I-99 in Snyder Township, a man was charged with DUI of alcohol.

During a traffic stop March 9 at 2:30 a.m. on U.S. Route 322 at Ninth Street in Rush Township, a man was found to be DUI of alcohol.

Dusty Conklin of Osceola Mills suffered moderate injuries in an accident March 18 at 3:10 p.m. when he was traveling north on SR 350 near Frank Road in Rush Township. He crested a hill and saw a disabled tractor-trailer in the southbound lane. His vehicle began to fishtail and traveled off the road, struck a tree and embankment and overturned onto the roof. Conklin was taken via Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services to Atloona Regional Health System.

Centre County Children and Youth Services contacted police about alleged physical abuse of a 9-year-old Philipsburg boy. The investigation was conducted and the case was determined to be unfounded.

Following a traffic stop for violations on SR 53 at New Liberty Road in Decatur Township Saturday at 1:20 a.m., a woman was found to be DUI of alcohol.

State police at Ebensburg
The juvenile who ran away from Winterhaven Pyramids in Reade Township Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. was found and cited for disorderly conduct.

State College Boro
On Friday at approximately 9:35 p.m., a 19-year-old State College man was crossing south to north just west of the Elmwood/College intersection when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The driver stated the pedestrian ran out in front of him and he could not avoid impact. The pedestrian was alert and conscious when police and Centre Life Link EMS arrived on scene, moments after the crash. He was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, and immediately flown to Altoona Regional Trauma Center due to head trauma. East College Avenue in the Elmwood intersection area was closed until 11:30 p.m. Alpha Fire Police and the state Department of Transportation assisted with the road closure. The pedestrian's condition was not known. Police are investigating.

The investigation continues after a 20-year-old male Penn State student was crossing North Atherton Street at Mitchell Avenue Saturday at 2:35 a.m. and was struck by a northbound vehicle. The driver stated she did not see the pedestrian until impact. The pedestrian was alert and conscious when police and Centre Life Link EMS arrived on scene. He was flown from the scene to Altoona Regional Trauma Center due to head trauma. North Atherton Street between Hillcrest and Cherry Lane was closed for several hours. Alpha Fire Police assisted with the road closure.
The pedestrian's condition was not known.
