State police at Clearfield
Sometime between Jan. 1 and Feb. 1, someone turned on a water line in Gulich Township and approximately 500,000 gallons of water came through the line. Total amount of water lost is estimated at $10,000. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call police at 857-3800.

DuBois City
A DuBois man was arrested Wednesday after he kicked a door in at a residence on East Weber Avenue, while also assaulting another man.
A DuBois woman was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI Wednesday after she was stopped on West Long Avenue for traffic violations.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident Thursday at the intersection of Olive Avenue and South Church Street. No one was injured in the accident.
A domestic dispute occurred yesterday between a woman and her mother-in-law over a necklace. The incident occurred in the first block of East Washington Avenue. One of the women was taken to DuBois Regional Medical Center for a voluntary mental evaluation.
A DuBois man was taken into custody yesterday for suspicion of DUI after an officer observed the man's vehicle swerving on Maple Avenue.

Sandy Township
A DuBois woman lost control of her vehicle Wednesday on Bee Line Highway near Morningside Cemetery, causing it to go off the road coming to rest leaning on an embankment. The driver and three passengers were uninjured, and the vehicle was towed back onto the road and driven from the scene.
A vehicle driven by an Altoona man on Thursday did not stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a DuBois woman, who was stopped at the light of the Brady Street and Dixon Avenue intersection. No injuries reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
A Johnsonburg woman was caught by Walmart employees Thursday attempting to take $318.67 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
A Treasure Lake woman lost control of her vehicle Thursday on Clear Run Road, causing it to travel off the road and hit a guard rail, then come to rest disabled on the road. The vehicle was towed from the scene, and no injuries were reported.
On Thursday, a Central Christian Road woman reported that a known woman was in her driveway yelling and causing a disturbance. The offender was gone upon police arrival.
