State police at Clearfield
In an act of criminal mischief, someone used a blunt object to strike the right side cab and bed of a Coalport man's vehicle while it was parked on Wood Street in Coalport between 11 p.m. Monday and 12:30 a.m. yesterday. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.
Today at approximately 5:20 a.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred on state Route 879 in Curwensville. John Edwards of Curwensville was traveling west, lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadway, it traveled into the eastbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by Robert Shaffer of Curwensville. Edwards' vehicle continued west for a short distance and came to rest in the middle of the road, while Shaffer's vehicle continued a short distance east and came to rest in the westbound lane facing south. Both drivers suffered minor injuries, but Edwards' passenger, Wendy McCracken of Curwensville, was not injured.

Someone spray painted a Williams Street resident's house with black paint some time last week.
A woman reportedly lost her wallet near J.G. Food Warehouse.
Several suspicious men reported at 310 Margarita St. left prior to police arrival.
During a traffic stop on Daisy Street, a man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Several pills not in a prescription bottle were found during a traffic stop for a violation on River Road.
Officers assisted Lawrence Township police with vehicles stuck on Krebs Highway due to road conditions.

A lost phone was recovered and returned to its owner.
The woman involved in a one-vehicle accident on Rockton Mountain Highway whose vehicle struck a guide rail and spun onto the berm was transported to Clearfield Hospital with minor injuries.
Disorderly conduct along Turnpike Avenue was resolved before police arrived.
Police assisted emergency medical services with a person who fell, but was found to be OK and refused medical treatment.
Traffic control was provided on state Route 879 for two tractor-trailers stuck on a hill, where the state Department of Transportation plowed and put down anti-skid, allowing them to start moving again.
Officers responded to numerous storm-related calls involving vehicles stuck in the snow.

DuBois City
Those involved in a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Pifer Street Monday separated.
On Monday, a woman reported she believed there was someone upstairs at her Juniata Street residence, but officers were unable to locate anyone.
A hit-and-run accident occurred Monday in the 100 block of East Scribner Avenue in which a vehicle struck another vehicle's driver's side mirror.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident yesterday near Knarr Street and Shaffer Avenue when a vehicle struck an illegally parked vehicle.
Yesterday, an intoxicated DuBois man located at Gateway Towers was found to be wanted by Sandy Township police in connection with an incident earlier in the evening. He was turned over to Sandy Township police.
The investigation continues after someone stole prescription medications from a residence in the 200 block of East Sherman Avenue.

On Jan. 8, stolen property was recovered from a burglary in New Jersey for which a man was arrested.
A Morrisdale resident was traveling south on the Troy-Hawk Run Highway Jan. 8 when she lost control of her vehicle, it left the road, went down a slight embankment and sheered off a utility pole. She admitted she was texting while was driving and she was also found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, for which she was arrested and taken for chemical testing.
The reported structure fire to which police and Winburne Fire Co. responded was found to be a controlled burn.
A vehicle was found abandon on Kylertown-Drifting Highway Jan. 10.
The investigation continues in a harassment incident Saturday in which two boys struck another boy in the stomach along Turnpike Road.
Overnight Saturday into Sunday, someone took The Progress newspapers from the machine at Mountain View Market Place in Kylertown and laid them end-for-end from the store to the truck stop.
Yesterday, a stolen all-terrain vehicle recovered at the pull-off at the end of Ninth Street was taken to the township building for safekeeping. State police at Philipsburg contacted police advising the ATV was stolen from Philipsburg Borough.

Today at 2:03 a.m., someone lost control of their vehicle, believed to be a Nissan Titan, it struck a parked vehicle along Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township, causing it to travel down an embankment. The other vehicle continued, struck a home and fled on Loch Lomond Road. It should be missing the driver's side mirror and have damage to the driver's side. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 342-3370.
