Boggs retains Dickson as chair

WEST DECATUR - The Boggs Township Supervisors held their reorganization meeting yesterday afternoon and retained Bill Dickson as chairman.
Gary Straw will continue to as vice chairman for 2013, while Jeff Baney is the third supervisor.
The secretary/treasurer position will still be held by Denise Dobo, and Elizabeth Dupuis will stay on as township solicitor.
All three supervisors will have the ability to be the township roadmaster.
Other positions for 2013 are as follows: John Deacon as vacancy chairman; Pennsafe Inspection Agency for UCC Building Inspector; Dobo as Moshannon Valley Fire Council representative, Earned Income Tax Committee representative, and open records officer; Rob Singer of Pennsafe as sewage enforcement officer; Clearfield Bank & Trust and CNB Bank as depositories; Shawnna Baney-Shaw as emergency medical coordinator; Ben Burns as a Wallaceton-Boggs Authority member; and Baney as Moshannon Valley Council of Government Representative.
The supervisors did not fill the position of code enforcement officer as they decided to wait until spring to fill that spot.
Meetings for the year will continue to be held on the second Monday of each month at 4 p.m.
The next regular meeting will take place on Monday at 4 p.m. at the township building.
