State police at Clearfield
Yesterday at 10 p.m., an incident of underage drinking/public drunkenness occurred when a 20-year-old West Decatur man consumed alcohol and created a disturbance on Arc Road in Boggs Township.

Clearfield Boro
Yesterday, officers responded to a fight in the East Sixth Street area.

A domestic disturbance occurred yesterday along Cemetery Road between a mother and daughter.

Police investigated a minor accident yesterday on East Market Street.

Yesterday, officers investigated a harassment incident along Stewart Avenue.

A complaint was received regarding a bad check written along Daisy Street.

Lawrence Township
Officers assisted emergency medical services with a person on Valley View Drive who was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.

Information was requested from police regarding a protection from abuse violation and the person was advised a meeting at an area retail store was a chance encounter. However, a violation of the PFA order did occur at the alleged victim's workplace in another jurisdiction.

Officers have a person of interest in an incident of criminal trespass that occurred at Lawrence Park Village.

The investigation continues after police recovered a snowmobile that was lost, stolen or abandoned.

Several incidents of fraud were reported in which area residents received checks for $2,000 more than the requested items on the Internet. Individuals were told to cash the checks and return the unused money, keeping a small amount for themselves. These checks are fraudulent and those cashing them will be responsible for the funds. Residents are advised to use caution when dealing with any unknown parties.

Assistance was given to a stranded motorist on state Route 879.

Curwensville Boro
A driver was not injured Dec. 26 when their vehicle struck a deer on Schofield Street.

On Saturday morning, police arrested a Curwensville woman for allegedly driving under the influence.

Motorists are reminded that parking is not permitted on State and Filbert streets between 3-6 a.m.

Residents are reminded sidewalks are to be cleared of snow and ice and failure to do so can result in a fine of up to $300.

A Curwensville man was arrested for DUI Tuesday morning.

Following a domestic disturbance at a Filbert Street residence Tuesday at 3:25 a.m., a Curwensville man was taken into custody and arraigned on charges of simple assault.

State police at Philipsburg
James Coval of Osceola Mills was traveling north on One Mile Run Road near Black Moshannon Road in Rush Township Dec. 24 at 11 p.m. when his vehicle struck a patch of ice on a left curve. The vehicle slid off the road and over an embankment, overturning onto its roof. Police were notified of the crash by a local resident the following morning. Motorists are reminded that when a crash occurs and there is an injury or the vehicle must be towed away, the police department that has jurisdiction of the area must be notified in a timely manner.

No injuries were reported in an accident Dec. 26 at 11:55 a.m. in Huston Township.
A Mechanicsville man was traveling south on a snow-covered South Eagle Valley Road when another driver used their turn signal but was unable to slow down, causing his vehicle to slide off the road. It traveled into a ditch and overturned one time before coming to rest on its roof.

On Dec. 26 at noon, a known woman slowed to turn at the Glider Port parking area South Eagle Valley Road at Poor Farm Lane in Union Township and lost control of her vehicle, it slid off the roadway and into an embankment. She and her 9-year-old daughter were uninjured.
