State police at Clearfield
Someone stole an Irvona man's red 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck between 11:50 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. yesterday from his Hopkins Street residence. It has a lift kit, 35-inch tires with black wheels, extended cab and 6½-foot bed. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800.

Clearfield Boro
A Clearfield man was arrested for aggravated assault and related charges after he attempted to strike his wife with his pickup truck in the 600 block of East Ninth Street. He struck several parked vehicles and a fence, where she was standing. The man, who was intoxicated, fled on foot, but officers found him hiding inside a neighbor's garage. He will be arraigned later today.
Following a noise complaint along South Second Street, police issued a warning to the person responsible.
In separate incidents, officers assisted with disabled vehicles on Reed and Daisy streets.

State police at DuBois
On Tuesday at 1:10 p.m., a one-vehicle accident occurred on U.S. Route 219 in Snyder Township, Jefferson County, when Amanda Best of DuBois was traveling south. Her vehicle exited the road onto the west berm, entered the Apple Tractor parking lot and struck a utility pole guide wire, where she applied the brakes but was unable to stop. Best suffered minor injuries, but her two juvenile passengers were not injured.

Sandy Township
No injuries were reported Monday when a vehicle driven by a Mahaffey woman pulled from U.S. route 219 and 119 into the path of a vehicle driven by a Rockton man.
On Monday, a Reynoldsville woman exited Interstate 80 onto U.S. 219 into the path of a vehicle driven by a Ridgway man. The impact caused her vehicle to travel across the highway and come to rest in a ditch. She was extricated from her vehicle and taken to Altoona Regional Health System.
Officers handled a situation in which a DuBois man reported his niece has been harassing him via phone.
A Rockton man reported that his ex-girlfriend's mother is harassing him.
The vehicle near the Dollar Tree at the Commons in which children were left unattended left before officers arrived Tuesday.
Someone scratched a DuBois man's vehicle while it was parked at Lowe's Tuesday.
No injuries were reported when a vehicle driven by a DuBois man struck the back of a vehicle driven by a DuBois woman at the Bee Line Highway and Shaffer Road intersection.
Officers handled a verbal domestic dispute in the Walmart parking lot Tuesday.

Curwensville Boro
A boy reported Friday afternoon he answered the door at his Centre Street residence and was assaulted by an unknown individual, who fled on foot.
In an incident of theft, a business reported money was stolen from a fundraising campaign.
Residents are cautioned not to respond or provide personal information following a scam involving checks for several thousand dollars from Reader's Digest Sweepstakes. The information indicates the recipient must pay fees to claim the large cash prize, which is not a procedure used by Reader's Digest.
On Monday, police investigated an incident of harassment by communication.

The investigation continues in the theft of an iPad belonging to Glendale High School.
