DuBois man arrested for store burglaries Friday, November 30, 2012 DUBOIS - DuBois City police have taken a DuBois man into custody for burglarizing Choice convenience store. Police questioned Shane P. Stuckey, who allegedly admitted to committing both recent burglaries at the store. He was taken into custody and placed in Clearfield County Jail on a probation detainer. He faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal trespass. On Wednesday at approximately 12:04 a.m., police responded to an activated alarm at Choice on West DuBois Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the glass on the front door was smashed and the store had been burglarized. Surveillance video from the store showed a man entering the store and removing various items. Officers discovered the items taken were similar to those taken in a previous burglary at the store Nov. 15 in which they had a person of interest. Police served a search warrant at Stuckey's DuBois Street residence later Wednesday and discovered the items from Choice and other evidence.
