State police at Clearfield
Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a private garage on Brown Hollow Road, Goshen Township owned by David Graham and Monica McGonigal of Winburne yesterday. Various hand tools valued at $600 were stolen.

Saturday at 11:13 p.m. Aaron Reifer, 27, of Houtzdale was traveling north on state Route 153 in Gulich Township when he fell asleep at the wheel. His vehicle traveled off the berm and overturned onto its side on Miller Road. Reifer was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

Someone used a debit card owned by Ernest Simmers of Houtzdale to make purchases online on Friday and Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.

A 17-year old Morrisdale girl used a rock to smash the front windshield of an Allport woman's vehicle yesterday at approximately 3:20 a.m.

Police are attempting to locate Keirsten Michelle Steward, 17, of Morrisdale. She was last seen in the Kylertown area Saturday at approximately 7:30 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the residence of Rodney L. Smeal on 1375 Schoolhouse Road, Morris Township sometime between Oct. 6 and Oct. 20. The perpetrator kicked open the basement door. Once inside they damaged several items inside before fleeing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Clearfield Boro
Police responded to the 500 Block of South Fourth Street for a report of a group of juveniles who were in the area causing a disturbance. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the juveniles.

Police responded to North Third Street for a report of an intoxicated underage girl who was in possession of alcohol. Police located the girl and transported her to her residence where she was released to her parent/guardian.

Police responded to Front Street for a report of a group of juveniles who were causing a problem at a local business. Police located the juveniles and warned them of their actions. They were released.

Police handled a 911 hang up call and found that everything was OK at the residence.

Police located a vehicle in the Clearfield Driving Park after hours. The driver was advised to move along for the evening.

Police will be citing two juveniles for underage drinking after they were located along Woodland Road and East Eighth Street They were found to have been consuming alcohol. They were released into the custody of their parents.

Police responded to a domestic at Reed Street Apartments where a female was arrested for striking her ex-boyfriend.

Police responded to East Market Street for a psychological emergency involving a male swallowing household cleaning items.

Police responded to a domestic on Bigler Avenue between two brothers. The men were highly intoxicated and engaged in a mutual argument.

Police located an individual who was wanted on outstanding warrants through Domestic Relations. The individual was taken into custody and transported to Clearfield County Jail.

Police arrested a man for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police received a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The incident was determined to be a civil issue.

Lawrence Township
An incident of criminal mischief was reported when a Hillsdale resident reported someone damaged a fence.

An arrest warrant was served on a Curwensville woman. She was placed in the CCJ in lieu of $10,000 bail.

A drug violation was reported at a local motel. The individual was gone prior to police arrival. The investigation continues.

No injures were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Turnpike Avenue and Barn Road when a Curwensville woman failed to see a vehicle driven by a Clearfield woman and struck it in the side. Both driver's escaped injury but the second vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

State police at DuBois
Someone damaged the mailbox on the 400 block of S. Pancoast Ave. owned by William Shenkle of Reynoldsville and fled the scene.

A 16-year old boy from Penfield allegedly assaulted a 16-year old DuBois boy while on the school bus Friday at 8:05 a.m.

A Natrona Heights man was flown by medical helicopter to the Altoona Regional Medical Center after crashing his pickup truck on SR 255, Bennetts Valley Highway, in Huston Township Tuesday at 2:16 p.m. According to police, Willis Arner was traveling north when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole, knocking down power lines onto the roadway and sheering the pole in two places. His pickup continued to travel north, and hit the curb as well as some shrubbery before striking the front porch of a house causing the porch roof to collapse. Arner was wearing his seatbelt and sustained unknown injuries. He also may have suffered from a medical condition prior to the crash. SR 255 was closed for 13 hours as a result of the crash.

DuBois City
Friday at 10:43 p.m., police were dispatched to the 200 block of South Brady Street for a disorderly man. The man admitted to police he had yelled at the victim and challenged him to a fight. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

Curwensville Boro
People were reported to be prowling in Temple Heights Wednesday night.

A suspicious male was reported on River Street and Meadow Street. The male was identified and he told police he was walking to his girlfriend's residence.

Police investigated a report of a suspicious person on State Street near Spila Road. While police returned to the vehicle to identify the man, he fled on foot. Police pursued the man but were unable to locate him. It was later learned the man has bench warrants for his arrest through Clearfield County Sheriffs Department and the Lawrence Township Police Department.

Morris-Cooper Regional
Police are continuing their investigation into an accident involving a pedestrian in Morrisdale. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police.

A Munson resident was cited for harassing a Winburne resident.

Police responded to a suspicious vehicle parked along the roadway in Winburne, and found everything to be OK.

A Winburne resident was cited for criminal mischief for throwing an egg at a neighbor's window in Winburne.

Police assisted the U.S. Marshall Service with a warrant in Kylertown.

Police cited a Hawk Run minor for underage consumption after returning home highly intoxicated from the Philipsburg-Osceola football game.

A Morrisdale business owner reported to police that unknown individuals had taken four new batteries and four new approximately 100-foot cables off of a D-10 L Cat Dozer. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 765-1533.

Police responded to a vehicle filled with smoke at the West Branch High School. Morris Township Fire Company determined the dome light shorted out and started to smoke. No injuries were reported.

Police responded to a psychological emergency in Morrisdale and transported the person to Clearfield Hospital for treatment.

State police at Rockview
Between Oct. 15 and Friday, someone shot a 900-pound buffalo with an arrow while it was contained in a fenced area of the Trophy Rack Lodge preserve off of Walker Place Lane in Moshannon. The buffalo was found dead on Friday with an arrow embedded within its carcass. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 355-7545. The investigation is continuing.
