State police at Clearfield The investigation continues in a burglary incident at commercial buildings along State and Filbert streets in Curwensville between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. yesterday. Someone attempted to forcefully gain access into Adam's Golden Grill, but was unsuccessful. Those responsible forcibly gained access to Butch's 101 Stop through a side door and stole a large amount of money. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 857-3800. --- Troopers are seeking more information in their investigation of a burglary at the Karthaus Gas Station on Main Street in Karthaus Township between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. yesterday. --- The investigation continues after a vehicle struck a parked vehicle at Dollar General on Filbert Street in Curwensville Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and fled the scene.
Clearfield Boro Information was received about a possible drug transaction in East End. --- Officers were called to a local park about a stolen bicycle. --- Police were asked to assist emergency medical services with an emergency. --- The Clearfield man and woman involved in a verbal domestic incident on East Market Street agreed to separate for the night. --- The investigation continues in a harassment by communication complaint. --- Officers are investigating a domestic dispute along West Front Street between a 13-year-old boy and his grandmother.
Lawrence Township An assault involving a female student was reported at Clearfield Area Middle School. --- The report of a bear in a tree on Turnpike Avenue was referred to the state Game Commission. Later, a bear was reportedly eating out of a Dumpster at a Turnpike Avenue business. --- The individual who reported suspicious individuals at an East Cherry Street business was referred to Clearfield Borough police. --- Someone reported a possible theft from a Martin Street Extension business. --- A disabled vehicle reported on U.S. Route 322 near Clearfield Mall was removed prior to police arrival. --- Officers assisted Clearfield County Juvenile Probation with a high school student who was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. --- The individual at Sapp Bros. who paid for gas with a credit card that didn't register later returned and paid for it. --- Assistance was given to a motorist who found a lost dog, which was housed in a kennel and the township's animal control officer was notified. --- Police responded to a parking complaint on Antes Hill.
