State police at Clearfield
Zachary Schreckengost of Clearfield suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident yesterday at 6:40 a.m. when he was traveling west on Rockton Mountain Highway and his vehicle struck a deer.

Someone removed seven batteries from six different vehicles at Emigh's Garage on Wallaceton-Morrisdale Highway in Boggs Township between 1 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday. Anyone with information should call the police at 857-3800.

The investigation continues after someone forced entry to a Forest Street residence in Coalport by using an unknown blunt object to break a second story, causing approximately $50 damage. Those responsible rummaged through the first floor and stole $200 in cash and approximately 20 Ibuprofen pills. Anyone with information is asked to call the police.

Clearfield Boro
The vehicle that reportedly struck a sign along South Fourth Street was gone when police arrived.

Officers responded to Mountain Extreme to meet Sandy Township police in assisting with transporting a homeless man to the men's shelter for the night.

Police assisted Decatur Township police at Clearfield Hospital with an intoxicated woman who was being violent.

The man responsible for a disturbance at Clearfield Hospital was gone when police arrived.

Officers assisted state parole in searching a residence, where drug-related items and weapons were found. A Clearfield man was placed in Clearfield County Jail.

Police responded to East End for a report of a disorderly male.

A man who was found along Woodland Road fled on foot when he spotted the police unit.
Officers were advised that he placed items in a bush near a house after he fled. They were believed to have been stolen from a Lawrence Township business, and Lawrence Township police were notified.

A large rock that was causing a traffic hazard on state Route 879 was removed by police.

Police have a person of interest and forensic evidence was collected in a burglary in the country club area.

Assistance was given to a stranded motorist at an area supermarket.

Officers and county control are working on an arrest warrant for an individual who is in Allegheny County Jail and is wanted for crimes that occurred in Lawrence Township.

Sandy Township
Several reports of damaged mailboxes and posts were received from South Main Street residents Monday.

Officers responded to a Quarry Avenue residence Monday for a 911 hang-up call and possible domestic dispute, where they found the house empty and back door open. Contact was made with one of the residents by phone and everything appeared to be OK.

The investigation continues after a Wasson Avenue woman reported she ordered and paid for a headstone through Lake Lawn Cemetery, Reynoldsville, but never received it.

Yesterday, a Quarry Avenue woman reported a known man was making harassing phone calls to her mother.

Curwensville Boro
Suspicious people reported in the Anderson Street area yesterday afternoon were identified and instructed to contact the borough secretary in regard to solicitation permits.

Yesterday, police explained to those involved in a reported theft that the incident was a civil matter.

State police at Philipsburg
Someone caused an estimated $900 in damage to nine runway light assemblies between 1 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Monday at Mid-State Airport. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 342-3370.

On Sunday, a Philipsburg man was cited for harassment and criminal mischief following an argument with a woman along Rusty Lane in Philipsburg that turned physical. He reportedly shoved her and punched the trailer, causing damage.

On Monday, an Easy Go golf cart, valued at $3,500, was stolen from a Glendale Year Round campsite.
