State police at Clearfield
The investigation continues after someone stole a vehicle from a Market Street residence in Karthaus Township yesterday.

Clearfield Boro
Officers handled a verbal domestic incident at the scene.
Children reportedly damaging equipment at the East End playground were warned for their actions.

Lawrence Township
Police responded to the state Route 879 and U.S. Route 322 overpass for a report of an elk that had been on the roadway and jumped off the bridge. The railroad yard was searched below, but the animal was not located.
Extra patrols will be provided after a suspicious vehicle report on Patton Street.
Several credit cards were found in a portable restroom at a South Second Street business.
Officers located a Clearfield man who was wanted by Clearfield County Sheriff's Department, took him into custody and found he had four warrants for his arrest.
A Curwensville woman was arrested after police responded to an SR 879 business for a retail theft incident.
Police checked the welfare of a man in Hyde and advised him to contact his wife.
A reported trespassing incident was unfounded.
The owner of a stray dog reported at Walmart retrieved it prior to police arrival.
A disabled vehicle was reported on Martin Street Extension.
Property was reportedly recovered on South Second Street.

State police at DuBois
In an incident of defrauding secured creditors, a known man failed to pay for pizza he ordered Aug. 1. He was found guilty in civil court and a levy was put on his vehicle, but he failed to appear with the vehicle at a predeterimined location at Chapman's Trailer Court in Brady Township.
Yesterday at 5:40 a.m., a one-vehicle accident occurred on Main Street in Troutville when Randall Luzier of Olanta was traveling west and his vehicle struck a horse. A passenger, Duane Bailey of Hyde, was transported by Brady Township Emergency Medical Services to DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Luzier was not injured. Trooper James Price and Brady Township Fire Department also assisted at the scene.

State police at Ebensburg
Chelsea Walstrom of Houtzdale was traveling south on SR 865, Skyline Drive, at 12:15 a.m. Saturday when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve. Her vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and she overcompensated. The vehicle continued out of control before striking a dirt embankment and overturning, coming to rest in the middle of the road.
Walstrom was transported to Altoona Regional Health System Trauma Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Reade Fire Co. and Reade Area EMS assisted at the scene.
On Thursday, a man was involved in an argument with a woman on North Locust Street at Glendale Yearround regarding him wanting to take his mother's furniture.
No injuries were reported in an accident Friday at 12:04 p.m. on state Route 865 in Reade Township. Barry McClellan was traveling north and slowed to turn at a private driveway when the back of his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Jon Hommer of Blandburg. Hommer's vehicle struck the guide rail and overturned onto the driver's side.
