CRC's Fall Festivalexpected to be bigger this year

Clearfield Revitalization Corp. announces the second annual Fall Festival, Pumpkin Run/Walk 5K, Parade of Paws and Car Show to be held Oct. 13.
Join the CRC for a day of family fun in the streets of downtown Clearfield. There will be food, crafts, games and entertainment. Admission is free.
The schedule of events is as follows:
Race registration for the Pumpkin Run/Walk 5K and Parade of Paws from 7-8 a.m., with the events starting at 8:30 a.m.; awards ceremony for the Pumpkin Run, 9:30 a.m.; CRC Fall Festival, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; awards ceremony for the car show at the Lezzer Lumber stage, 4:30 p.m.
Vendors interested in participating may download a vendor application from the website at www.ClearfieldPumpkinRun.com.
The Parade of Paws, which is new this year, is a one-mile route within the 5K for anyone interested in walking a sheltered dog from the Gateway Humane Society. To register to walk a dog, print and complete an application at the website and return it with a $10 registration fee to the CRC office. Proceeds benefit the Gateway Humane Society and the CRC. People are encourgaed to sign up now to participate in the Pumpkin Run/Walk 5K. Prizes will be awarded. Pick up an entry form at the CRC office or go the Web site. CRC is also registered online through www.Active.com.
New this year is the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter No. 972 Car Show. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon on Third Street in Clearfield. Registration fee is $6. There are 13 classes, with first-, second- and third-place trophies plus a mayor's trophy and commander's trophy.
