Anyone who witnessed a vehicle strike a white dog on South Second Street near St. Francis School several days ago should contact police at 765-7819 or 765-1533.

Police are seeking more information in a hit-and-run accident on Quarry Avenue in which a vehicle struck and damaged a wall.

Following a reported domestic dispute on Ogden Avenue, police spoke to a man and woman involved, who stated they were arguing, but there were not more problems.

A suspicious person was reported along Railroad Street.

The investigation continues in a report of criminal mischief on Coal Hill Road.

Someone filed a traffic complaint after several triaxle trucks allegedly used jake brakes in a posted area on Clear-field-Curwensville Highway.

Several motorists were reportedly driving at an unsafe speed on Clearfield-Glen Richey Highway.

Heavy truck traffic was reported in the McGeorge Road area.

A motorist whose vehicle contained an unsecured load was reportedly traveling on Clear-field-Curwensville Highway.

Two men allegedly attempted to sell stereo equipment in an area business parking lot.

Following a report of unrestrained horses on Evans Road, police arrived and found a neighbor was returning them to their owner.

In separate incidents, reports were received of recovered property, one in which a bicycle reported stolen was recovered by the owner.

Prior to police arrival, a personal property dispute was resolved at Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club.

The investigation continues after police received additional information in regard to a burglary and were able to determine the name and address of a person of interest.

Officers advised a group of juveniles who were playing jailbreak to keep the noise down and to finish their game in a half hour after responding to an unfounded report of a domestic disturbance.

In a reckless endangerment incident, an infant was allegedly left alone for an extended period of time. Children, Youth & Family Services assisted at the scene, and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a report of a missing person who was diabetic and went missing without his medicine. After a foot search of the area, he was located and returned to his family.

Sandy Township
No injuries were reported Monday when a Mayport woman was exiting Interstate 80 at state Route 255 and her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by a New York man, who was stopped and waiting to pull onto SR 255.

No one was injured Monday when a Johnsonburg man pulled his vehicle from a business into the path of a vehicle driven by a Knox Dale man.

The investigation continues after Walmart employees reported seeing a Penfield man and two other males attempt to take game controllers without paying for them Monday.

Officers are investigating after a Highland Street School employee reported damage to a flagpole and basketball net and backboard yesterday.

A health care service employee in Cumberland County reported she was speaking to a Kilmer Road man on the phone when he became abusive and threatened to harm himself.
Officers checked on him and found he was OK, and he apologized for his actions.

Yesterday, a 17-year-old Treasure Lake boy was operating a friend's motorcycle on Oklahoma Salem Road when he lost control of the bike and crashed on the shoulder of the road.
Witnesses reported the boy had been passing cars and riding at an excessive rate of speed.
He was flown to Altoona for treatment.

Police handled an incident yesterday in which an Ollie Lane resident reported young girls were operating all-terrain vehicles in her yard.

During a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter yesterday, the daughter left the residence prior to police arrival.
