Dominick's artwork on display at DuBois gallery Monday, August 13, 2012 DUBOIS - Longtime local resident and artist Willard Dominick currently has 36 artworks on display at the Winkler Gallery of Fine Art, 36 N. Brady St., DuBois. Dominick's work spans 60 years and includes watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings. In addition to this show, he has exhibited in private and corporate collections, including National Academy of Art, Butler Institute of Art, Mainstreams USA, Penn Memorial Museum, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Westmoreland Nationals, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. Dominick was employed by Clearfield Area School District as an art teacher and supervisor of art for 36 years. In retirement, at age 92, he continues to paint and exhibit in local, regional and national shows. The gallery is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit runs through early September and most of the pieces are for sale.
