Pirates trim Lemont, 4-3 Friday, August 10, 2012 LEMONT - The Philipsburg Pirates took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series in the Centre County Baseball League finals on Thursday evening. They held off Lemont, 4-3. Tyler Good blasted a two-run homer in the sixth inning to give the Pirates the lead. The dinger was the only extra base hit of the game for Philipsburg. Jeremy Potter also had two hits. A.J. Robinson picked up the win on the mound for the Pirates. He threw a complete game and gave up six hits and three earned runs. He struck out three batters in the contest. Game 3 of the CCBL finals will be on Sunday at Philipsburg. First pitch is scheduled for 2.
