Cambria County inmate charged with criminal homicide

EBENSBURG - A Cambria County Prison inmate who allegedly killed another inmate during an altercation Saturday was arraigned by videoconference yesterday at Magisterial District Judge Fred Creany's office.
Creany charged William Amos Cramer of McClellandtown with one count each of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and assault by a prisoner following an altercation at Cambria County Prison that resulted in the death of William Sherry, 28, of Northern Cambria.
Cramer was ordered held without bail due to the criminal homicide charge.
