Community band to perform Tuesday

On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Clearfield Community Band will perform at Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, 112 E. Locust St., Clearfield; doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
"This is an event we look forward to with much anticipation," said a CAST spokesperson.
"This is a wonderful group of musicians who have so much talent. Their show is pure pleasure."
Under the direction of Larry Schmaus, the band is comprised of men and women who have been involved with music in some form or another for most of their lives. They range from college students home for the summer, who return to be with their fellow musicians, to retirees.
The band performs marches, Broadway, easy listening, rock n'roll, patriotic and sacred music.
There is no charge to attend this concert, but free-will offerings will be accepted.
