State police at Clearfield
No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident yesterday on Walton Street in Decatur Township. Kristie Gallaher of Osceola Mills was traveling south when she swerved to miss a deer. Gallaher lost control of her vehicle and traveled off of the west shoulder, striking a traffic sign and a stump.

Clearfield Boro
Police responded to a one-vehicle accident along Gulich Avenue. A vehicle lost control while negotiating a turn in the roadway, and struck the curb. Both front tires were damaged. There were no injuries.

Police assisted a motorist along Williams Street who had their keys locked in the car.

Police received a report of a stolen bicycle from a West Side resident.

Police received a report of harassment by communications.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief to a soda machine on West Side.

Police received a complaint of a stolen wooden Uncle Sam yard ornament. The ornament is approximately 3 feet in height.

Police are asking residents to keep their vehicles locked. There have been numerous complaints of vehicles being entered and items stolen at night.

Police are investigating an attempted arson on Williams Street. Someone attempted to light a fire under a wooden stairway of an apartment complex.

Lawrence Township
An incident of theft reportedly occurred at an area motel.

A vehicle was observed speeding several times on Mt. Joy Road, and the violation was reported to police.

Suspicious activity was reported on Hall Street, however, police found a resident was building a flowerbed.

Police received a report of bad checks from an area business.
---
The investigation continues after three individuals broke into a phone card machine at Sapp Bros. and stole money.

Officers assisted Clearfield Borough police with an accident on Guelich Avenue.

A camp was reportedly burglarized on McGeorge Road, and the investigation continues.

Police responded to Sheetz along state Route 879 for a report of a tractor-trailer leaking corn onto the roadway.

In a single-vehicle accident on SR 879 near Swisher Concrete, an overloaded trailer broke free from a vehicle and blocked traffic.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 322 and Flegal Road, however, both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

An officer responded to the Aspen Springs area after someone used a large caliber firearm to destroy a mailbox and fled the scene.

The investigation continues after a single-vehicle accident on Woodland Road.
