Coroner rules death accidental

BELLEFONTE - Centre County Coroner Scott A. Sayers reports that Howard T. Swank Sr., 77, was a passenger involved in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday in Potter Township. Sayers pronounced Swank dead at the scene. An autopsy has been completed and Swank died as a result of asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation. The manner of death is accidental.
