SAMA holds planning meeting Monday, July 09, 2012 LUTHERSBURG - Susquehanna Antique Machinery Association met recently to make plans for its upcoming tractor show Aug. 18-19 at the show grounds near Luthersburg. Set-up day will be Aug. 17. The group discussed exhibits and exhibitors. There are still spaces available for anyone who wants to have a flea market, show crafts or a yard sale during the show. Also, any group or organization that would like to have a fundraiser or set up a display is welcome. For additional information, call 762-8735. Club members have been busy making homemade ice cream to sell at High Country Arts Festival at S.B. Elliott State Park and at Goshen firehall July 20-21 during the 100-Mile Yard Sale. Activities for June included selling ice cream at DuBois Community Days and participating at Grampian-Penn-Bloom Festival and Homecoming parade with their tractors. Members also plan to participate in the Curwensville Days parade July 21 and Clearfield County Fair parade July 30. The next meeting of the club will be Aug. 6. New members are welcome.
