A report of harassment by communication from a Hyde resident was handled without criminal charges.

DuBois City
The investigation continues after a Fuller Street woman reported her home was burglarized on Monday and someone took her 42-inch LCD television.

A man reported Monday someone forced open a door to his North Fourth Street rental house and burglarized it. The investigation continues.

Police settled an argument on Scribner Avenue on Monday when a woman returned home after being released from the hospital and a man told her she did not live at the location anymore.

An area woman reported her boyfriend's ex-wife was harassing her at City Park. Police interviewed both individuals and no charges were filed.

No charges were filed after a Robinson Street woman reported her boyfriend's ex-wife was harassing her over the phone, and police interviewed both individuals.

Police arrested a man for public drunkenness after they found him walking on West Scribner Avenue with a half empty half-gallon bottle of whiskey and vomiting. The man refused to cooperate with police and was transported to Clearfield County Jail, however, jail officials were unable to accept the man due to his level of intoxication. Subsequently, the man was transported to Clearfield Hospital where he refused to cooperate with medical personnel and had to be restrained.
Once the man was medically cleared, he was taken back to CCJ. He was cited for public drunkenness by DuBois City police and disorderly conduct by Clearfield Borough police, who assisted at the hospital.

A Sherman Avenue woman reported suspicious activity at her neighbor's house on Tuesday after learning they were away on vacation. Police checked the house and determined everything was OK.

Police responded to a noise complaint on Church Street on Tuesday and discovered the noise was coming from two small children who were playing.

Officers responded to Juniata Street Tuesday after a woman called 911 and reported there were people in her house and they were disappearing. When police arrived, the woman questioned whether or not responding officers were real and if they were there to help. She was transported by ambulance to DuBois Regional Medical Center for care.

Police contacted a man after a woman reported her boyfriend was behaving erratically and determined he was OK.

Two juveniles were found attempting to sneak in to a fireworks tent in the Hoss's parking lot after it was closed on Tuesday, and they were turned over to their parents.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday on Quarry Avenue where an Emlenton woman was unable to stop at a stop sign, causing her vehicle to strike the back of a vehicle driven by a Brockway man.

Police were called to Locust Street for a report of a girl and her mother arguing and they were able to resolve the incident.

The investigation continues after a woman reported a friend stayed with her for a short time and took several items when he left, including a watch and a Wii gaming system.

Officers were called to East Washington Avenue for a domestic disturbance. A woman advised she was allegedly pushed by her male roommate during an argument, and the man advised he was tired and wanted to be left alone. The woman did not wish to pursue charges.

The small child who was seen walking by himself along the 100 block of East Park Avenue Wednesday was determined to be 8 years old and was reportedly waiting for his sister.

A girl from Reynoldsville reported she was harassed by another girl at City Park, however police were unable to locate her.

On Wednesday, a DuBois man attempted to retrieve property from his girlfriend's South Fourth Street house when her father, the property owner, attempted to block access. The item was later returned.

Police arrived at the 100 block of West Scribner Avenue after a 911 hang up call and learned a known man and woman were arguing over a vehicle but had separated for the night.

In an incident of assault yesterday, a Danielsville woman reported she was in town visiting her boyfriend, an Allentown man, who was staying at Manor Motel when the two allegedly got into an argument and he struck her in the face, ripped her shirt and injured her thumb.
The man later called police and reported the woman stole his shirt and a remote control to a TV, and called a second time to report the woman was intoxicated and drinking in the parking lot of the police station.
Police said both reports were unfounded.

State police at Philipsburg
Samuel Wilbure Connors and James Aaron Breon, both of Julian, were charged with disorderly conduct on Tuesday after they got into a shouting match with juveniles along Catty Nine Trail Road in Huston Township at 8:50 p.m.

Sometime between 9:30 a.m. on June 16 and 9 p.m. June 23 someone entered a residence at 19 S. Eighth St. in Philipsburg Borough and removed money. Anyone who may have information on the incident is asked to call the police at 342-3370.

At 12:08 a.m. Thursday morning police said Cory D. Hummel of Philipsburg was traveling west in the area of 903 E. Alder St. when he traveled across the opposing lane and struck two parked vehicles that were facing east. Police said after he struck the unoccupied vehicles, he turned his vehicle around, passed the scene and returned to his home on North 10th Street where he abandoned the vehicle.
