Lawrence Township
Information was received in regard to an alleged assault that took place in Curwensville, and Curwensville Borough police were notified.

Extra patrols will be provided near the footbridge on Powell Avenue where a juvenile was reportedly being disorderly.

The investigation continues into an incident of retail theft at Walmart Supercenter.

Someone reported lost, stolen, or mislaid property on Interstate 80.

Officers spoke with individuals involved in a domestic incident on Lawrence Avenue and cleared the scene without further incident.

An elderly woman was transported to Clearfield Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Old Town Road.

A burning complaint was reported on Barn Road.

In an incident of criminal mischief, someone attempted to break into a vehicle parked at Clearfield Mall.

Officers responded to an alarm at Ollie's Bargain Outlet and found the building was secure.

Someone reported a drug violation occurred on Evans Road in Glen Richey.

Police assisted another agency with a report of a possible assault, however, police determined no assault had occurred.

Six traffic citations and warnings were issued during traffic detail on state Route 879.

State police at DuBois
Yesterday, police spoke to a woman who advised she has been receiving telephone calls from an individual claiming to be soliciting money for the Pennsylvania State Police. Clearfield and Jefferson County residents are reminded the state police do not solicit funds.

Sandy Township
Officers responded to The Friendly Tavern Monday because employees were having problems with patrons who refused to leave. Officers handled the situation without incident. While at The Friendly Tavern assisting with the problem, officers encountered a DuBois man who had a warrant for his arrest through the Clearfield County Sheriff's office. The man was taken into custody and turned over to deputies.

A Treasure Lake woman reported that her ex-husband, who lives in Punxsutawney, was at her residence. The man had been told on several occasions that he was not allowed on the property. The man was gone upon officers' arrival. Police were called back to the residence when the man returned. He refused to leave the property or cooperate with police. He was arrested, and after he was arraigned, transported to Clearfield County Jail.

Officers investigated a report of loud music at a Forrest Avenue residence. The situation was handled without incident.

A Treasure Lake resident reported someone stole a solar light from his yard.

A tractor-trailer driver reported that while he was sleeping in his parked truck at the Pilot Truck Stop, another truck struck his, causing minor damage. The second truck then fled the scene.

A Treasure Lake woman reported that her son assaulted her in their home. Officers met the woman at the front gate and found her to have injuries consistent with what she said her son had done. Police went to the residence and found the son, who admitted to what he had done. He was arrested and charged with simple assault and terroristic threats.

Employees of Shop ‘N Save reported that two females in their 20s left the store with a cart-load of groceries without paying. An employee confronted the two in the parking lot and was able to retrieve some of the merchandise before the women fled the scene. The investigation continues.

A Circle Road resident reported that someone was knocking on her back door, but when she looked to see who it was no one was there.

A South Main Street woman reported that her 4-year-old son was missing from their residence.
Prior to officers' arrival, another South Main Street resident reported that he found a child wandering around his house. Officers retrieved the boy and returned him to his mother. No problems were found at his residence.

A Treasure Lake resident reported that a vehicle struck a house then fled the scene. The vehicle traveled through the yard, causing damage and then struck the home. It traveled up the driveway and struck the homeowner's vehicle and then fled the scene. The offender, a Treasure Lake resident, was located.

Police located an individual and found they were not injured after a woman reported she assaulted someone.
