State police at Clearfield
A Madera man violated a protection from abuse order from the court and was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident last night at 9:01 p.m. on Interstate 80 in Bradford Township. Colleen Solliday of Granger, Ind. was traveling westbound at mile marker 123 when a deer entered directly into the path of her vehicle. Solliday's vehicle struck the deer, causing the vehicle to become disabled. Solliday and her four passengers were wearing seatbelts.

Police responded to Sheetz for a fight between two females.

Police assisted a motorist who ran out of gas with getting his vehicle off the roadway and getting a ride home.

Police responded to Nichols Street to check the welfare of an individual. The individual was located and was transported to the Clearfield Hospital.

Lawrence Township
The couple that allegedly rode a bicycle with their child in a golf bag were located in Curwensville by police. The child was not in a golf bag and was not in danger.

No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident that occurred yesterday on state Route 879. A Northern Cambria resident was traveling east when the lug nuts on the vehicle's left front tire came off, causing the tire to fly off and tear up the vehicle's left front fender.

A man who was reportedly trespassing on Powell Avenue was escorted from the property and taken to his parents' house because he was allegedly too intoxicated to drive.

Police were dispatched to Brown Street for a noise complaint, possible drug violation and a fire. Police arrived and found the noise was from a vehicle and was not associated with individuals who built a small fire in their backyard.

Police responded to the Hillsdale Community Center for a report of loud music. The perpetrators left prior to police arrival.

An assault was reported at the Road Trip Lounge in which a guest reportedly struck a local man in the face several times. The victim was transported to Clearfield Hospital by ambulance where he was treated and released. The investigation continues.

A man was reportedly attempting to flag down traffic on Daisy Street Extension Police determined he was a motorist whose car had broken down and was attempting to get a ride. Police gave the motorist a ride.

Police took into custody a man who wanted on a warrant from the Clearfield County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear.

Police were asked to assist EMS personnel with an accidental overdose for a person who took the wrong amount of medication. The patient was alert and police presence was not required and it was cleared without incident.

Police were called to a local business for a report of a woman who left her children unattended. The woman returned and fled prior to police arrival. The investigation continues.

Police received a report of a traffic violation. Police located the vehicle and the motorist but did not observe any violations. Police spoke with the motorist about his driving.

In an act of harassment by communication, a woman called a business and made threatening and harassing statements to employees. The investigation continues.

Police assisted another department with investigating township residents who were involved in incidents in neighboring jurisdictions.

State police at DuBois
Someone deposited trash on private property along Viaduct Road in Bloom Township between June 5-7.

The investigation continues after someone entered a travel trailer and small motor home on Sandstone Drive in Washington Township, Jefferson County owned by a Falls Creek man and a DuBois man between June 14-22. They removed camp chairs, a sleeping bag, grill, fire extinguisher, radio, miscellaneous hunting clothes and a small amount of loose change.

DuBois City
Police observed an intoxicated man walking on North Brady Street Friday, and determined the Allentown man had a warrant for his arrest in Easton. He was taken into custody and housed in Clearfield County Jail.

Police are investigating a woman for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an incident occurred at an area business.

State police at Philipsburg
A Port Matilda man was charged with criminal mischief after he drove his Ford F-150 into a yard at 107 Boot Trail, Taylor Township, Centre County Friday.

A window was broken at a Port Matilda residence on June 18 by a baseball when a group of boys were playing in the area.

An accident occurred Wednesday on Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough as two vehicles approached the Front Street intersection, each with a green light. Barbara Dixon of Osceola Mills turned left onto South Front Street in front of the other vehicle, causing damage to both vehicles. There were no injuries.

Charges of Act 64 violations, hit and run, and driving under the influence were filed against Travis Stahlman of State College Tuesday when he passed slow moving farm traffic ahead of him on state Route 220 in Worth Township, Centre County at a high rate of speed. A vehicle, driven by Forrest Adams of Port Matilda, was coming in the opposite direction and swerved into an embankment to avoid hitting him. Stahlman slammed on his brakes and slid into the Adams vehicle and then fled the scene. In addition to DUI, drug paraphernalia was discovered in the Stahlman vehicle.
