State police at Clearfield
In a hit-and-run accident, a motorist backed up and struck the gas pumps at Gio's in Bradford Township Friday at 2:16 p.m. and fled south on state Route 970.

Clearfield Boro
Eight individuals were served warrants for failure to pay fines, and two were placed in Clearfield County Jail.

The person who overdosed along Crozier Avenue was transported to Clearfield Hospital for treatment.

Several individuals were involved in a fight outside Sheetz.

Lawrence Township
Officers assisted Clearfield County Department of Parole and Probation with taking a Hyde woman into custody who was involved in an act of criminal mischief and transported her to Clearfield County Jail.

A theft reportedly occurred on Valley View Drive.

The investigation continues in an act of criminal mischief at Edgewood Apartments.

Police are investigating and have a person of interest in a forgery incident at a township residence.

In a failure to make required disposition of funds incident, a Morrisdale man failed to give an area ambulance service a check from an insurance company.

A Hyde woman was transported by police to CCJ for a probation violation.

Charges of loitering and prowling at nighttime and criminal mischief were completed against a person of interest currently housed at CCJ for an incident of vandalism that occurred last evening.

Following a report of gunshots in Goldenrod, police searched the area and found three men in a wooded area near Clearfield Creek who were target shooting against an earthen backstop.

Officers were canceled en route to a structure fire after it was determined cement dust had been mistakenly reported as smoke.

Two juveniles were referred to Children, Youth & family Services after they damaged property at their neighbor's residence.
The alleged victim was compensated for the damage.

The investigation continues in a report of lost or misplaced medication.

Police assisted motorists on Old Penfield Highway and in Hyde who locked their keys in their vehicles.

A complaint was received regarding an uninvited salesman who tried to pressure his way into an appointment.
The resident was advised to call if the man refused to leave the property and he would be cited and removed.

The investigation continues after police received information on potential drug distribution to minors.
Police shared the information with the Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investi-gation.

Police received a noise complaint in Edgewood.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Clark Street.

Officers checked two suspicious vehicles at Clearfield Mall and requested both motorists move on.

All-terrain vehicles on the railroad tracks in the East Maloney Road area Friday were gone upon police arrival.

Walmart employees stopped a DuBois woman as she was leaving the store to issue a no trespassing notice, but she began causing a scene and refused to leave.

The couple sleeping in the grass behind Long John Silvers who said they had been traveling and stopped to take a nap moved on without incident Friday.

Nothing appeared to have been taken in a burglary at a Maryland man's residence at Treasure Lake between Memorial Day and Friday, but there was damage.

Officers searched the Wren Avenue area Saturday after a resident reported his son heard someone banging on the outside of the house, but did not find anyone.

The investigation continues after a DuBois woman reportedly purchased and paid for furniture from a Treasure Lake resident.
When she went to pick it up Saturday, the seller and furniture were gone.

Two reports of dogs in the Circle Road area Saturday were unfounded.

Two DuBois men who were involved in an argument Saturday during which one man pulled a knife and threatened to stab the other man were intoxicated and both were arrested.

On Saturday, a DuBois woman was at a stop sign on Shaffer Avenue waiting to turn onto Maple Avenue when the back of her vehicle was struck by a yellow Jeep.
She pulled over and the other driver, a 17-year-old Reynoldsville boy, fled the scene, but was later found and his information gathered.

The noise complaint at a Cherokee Drive residence Saturday was handled without incident.

The investigation continues after a Falls Creek man reported being hit in the head at the Falls Creek International Fraternal Order of Eagles Sunday.

Officers are investigating reports of attempted forced entry to several Sandy Plaza businesses.
Those responsible also gained access to a maintenance shed behind the plaza, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Someone reportedly stole electric from a neighboring campsite at Cayman Landing Sunday.

Minor injuries were reported in an accident Sunday at West Liberty Road and U.S. 119 involving a Sykesville woman and a Luthersburg woman.
