Coroner reports on Muncy man's ATV related death

BELLEFONTE - Centre County Coroner Scott A. Sayers reports Robert E. Naugle, 52, of Muncy died Saturday at 6:15 p.m. as a result of an all-terrain vehicle accident near Laurel Run Road in Boggs Township, Centre County.
State police at Rockview report Naugle was riding his four-wheeler on a secluded, downhill road on private property when he lost control of the ATV, it traveled off the lane and struck three trees at a high rate of speed.
Naugle was pronounced dead at the scene by Sayers. An autopsy showed Naugle died as a result of blunt force trauma to the abdomen, and the manner of death is accidental. Naugle was not wearing a helmet.
C.H. & L. Fire Co. and Bellefonte Emergency Medical Services were also called.
