Judge Ammerman presides at plea and sentencing court session

Clearfield County President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman presided over a session of plea and sentencing court Tuesday.
• Brenda S. Boyer, 47, Philipsburg, was ordered to serve 28 days to six months in Clearfield County Jail on a charge of driving under the influence. She received a $1,000 fine, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, not enter bars or places that serve alcohol, complete the DUI School and a full drug and alcohol assessment and immediately surrender her driver's license.
• Timothy L. Hanna Jr., 18, 344 Atlantic Ave., Houtzdale, was ordered to serve three months to one year in CCJ in addition to two years' consecutive probation on charges of burglary, criminal conspira-cy/theft, corruption of minors and criminal mischief. He was fined $225, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, complete 100 hours of community service, not enter Jim's Custom Collision, attend counseling as recommended by his probation officer and submit to DNA testing at a cost of $250.
• Marie V. Sabbatino, 48, 705 Dawn St., Houtzdale, was ordered to serve 12 months to three years in the State Correctional Institution for Women at Muncy on charges of possession of a controlled substance with misrepresentation and forgery. She was fined $1 on each charge, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, complete drug and alcohol counseling and not enter the property of Clearfield-Jefferson Mental Health/Mental Retardation.
As a result of the new criminal offense, Sabbatino had her probation revoked. On a charge of forgery, she was resentenced to serve three months to two years in the SCI consecutive to the first case.
• Patrick D. Thomas, 26, 1027 Park Ave. Ext., Clearfield, was ordered to serve six months to one year in CCJ in addition to two years' consecutive probation on charges of retail theft and criminal conspiracy/retail theft. He was fined $500, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, complete the retail theft program and not enter the property of Walmart.
• Julie M. Hallman, 27, 111 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield, was ordered to serve five days to six months in CCJ on a charge of DUI. She was fined $300, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, not enter bars or places that serve alcohol, complete the DUI School and a full drug and alcohol assessment and immediately surrender her driver's license.
• Kelly L. Buchmiller, 23, DuBois, was ordered to serve 30 days to one year in CCJ in addition to two years' consecutive probation on a charge of endangering the welfare of children. She received a $200 fine, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, not enter bars or places that serve alcohol, and fully comply with all terms, conditions and directions of Children, Youth and Family Services.
• Richard J. Christy, 35, 34 Allegheny Drive, Charleston, W.Va., was ordered to serve 72 hours to six months in CCJ on a charge of DUI. He received a $1,000 fine, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, not enter bars or places that serve alcohol, complete the DUI School and a full drug and alcohol assessment and immediately surrender his driver's license.
• Shawn R. Kay, 29, 701 Walton St., Philipsburg, was ordered to serve 15 days to one year in CCJ in addition to one-year consecutive probation on a charge of fraud to obtain food stamps. He received a $100 fine, is to attend counseling as recommended by his probation officer and pay restitution. Effective with the month of July, he is to maintain a $30 monthly payment.
• Melinda R. Solada, 22, 835 N. Continental Drive, Rockton, was ordered to serve 15 days to one year in CCJ in addition to two years' consecutive probation on a charge of retail theft. She received a $300 fine, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, not enter bars or places that serve alcohol, complete the retail theft program, complete 25 hours of community service, not enter the property of Tan Zone and submit to DNA testing at a cost of $250.
On a second case of adulterated/misbranding a controlled substance, Solada received a $50 fine and was ordered to serve a concurrent 15 days to one year in CCJ. On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, she received a $25 fine and was placed on one-year probation.
On a third case, Solada received a $100 fine and was ordered to serve a concurrent 15 days to one year in CCJ on a charge of retail theft.
• Kayla M. Huff, 23, SCI, was ordered to serve six months to two years in the SCI for Women at Muncy on three counts of theft by deception to be served concurrent to charges presently being served. She received a $1 fine on each count, is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, pay restitution and not enter Boot Hyde Out in DuBois.
On a second case of simple assault, Huff received a $1 fine and was ordered to serve a concurrent six months to two years in the SCI. She is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and controlled substances, not enter bars or places that serve alcohol and complete anger management counseling. On a summary offense of harassment, she received a $1 fine.
