WNV Program to spray for mosquitoes

BELLEFONTE - Centre County West Nile Virus Program will conduct mosquito spraying in portions of Philipsburg Borough and Rush Township in Centre County tonight. Adjacent portions of Chester Hill Borough and Decatur Township in Clearfield County will also be treated.
This spray operation is in response to elevated numbers of nuisance mosquitoes. Spraying is expected to occur between 8:30-11 p.m., with a rain date of Wednesday. The treatment will be conducted with truck-mounted equipment.
