Daily Police Log Saturday, June 16, 2012 State police at DuBois A 21-year-old Sykesville man was loading his firearm at a residence on London Street in Sykesville on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. when he accidentally discharged the firearm, striking two fingers on his left hand. He was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center emergency room for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. --- Police are investigating a burglary that occurred along Lundberg Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County, between June 2 and June 9. --- Someone stole two metal ladders, valued at $500, off of two holding tanks at a gas well site adjacent to Station Hill Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County, between June 5 and Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at DuBois.
