Structure fire ruled arson

The structure fire last Thursday at 115 Ulerich St., Clearfield, was ruled to be arson, according to Clearfield Borough Police Chief Vincent McGinnis.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene around midnight and the investigation determined the cause to be arson because the fire was started at several locations within the home.
The home was unoccupied and no one was injured. The house is a total loss, McGinnis said. The investigation is continuing.
