State police at Clearfield
Charges of retail theft were filed against a Hyde man who allegedly pumped $38.01 worth of gasoline at Snappy's in Houtzdale at 8:38 a.m. yesterday and failed to pay for it.

Clearfield Boro
Officers assisted Lawrence Township police with an accident on Village Road.

The investigation continues after a white dump truck struck a vehicle in the 500 block of West Long Avenue Tuesday and fled the scene.

Sandy Township
The investigation continues after a DuBois woman reported she thought a known man took cash, cell phones and a camera from her father's house Wednesday.

No injuries were reported yesterday when a DuBois man was turning his pickup with a trailer at the Falls Creek Sheetz and it collided with a tractor-trailer.

Yesterday, a South Brady Street woman reported she had been drinking the night before and had gotten a ride home. When she returned for her vehicle the next morning it was gone.
Officers took the woman home and found her vehicle parked behind her house.

A Kilmer Road woman reported yesterday that a man was holding her niece against her will at a Salada Road residence. Upon investigation, it was found that the couple was trying to work out their relationship.

No injuries were reported yesterday when a Brockway man pulled out of the bowling alley and his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by a Corsica woman.

State police at Philipsburg
Saisha Ann Simco, 15, of Halfmoon Valley Road, Port Matilda, left her residence Wednesday at 8:20 a.m. to attend school and subsequent appointment in State College and failed to return home. It is believed Simco may be in the State College or Bellefonte areas.
She is 5 feet, 1 inch tall, 125 pounds with shoulder-length straight brown hair and hazel eyes. Simco was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, white shorts, black Nike sandals and was carrying a black and purple striped cloth bag with shoulder strap.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 342-3370.

The vehicle traveled off the road and struck a concrete culvert along the north berm.

Following a traffic stop Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township, a 17-year-old Morrisdale boy was cited for underage drinking.

A Julian man was not injured Tuesday at 5:45 a.m. when he swerved to avoid a deer on Julian Pike in Huston Township.
He lost control of his vehicle, it traveled over a small embankment and struck a tree.
The driver was wearing his seat belt.

On Monday, Steven Jones II of Philipsburg was arrested for retail theft after he stole two items, valued at $7.42, from Dollar General in Philipsburg.
He was issued a citation and released.
