State police at Clearfield
The investigation continues after someone removed a traffic cone, valued at $10, from a driveway along Telcott Street in Hawk Run between 11:30 a.m. and noon yesterday.

Someone caused approximately $2,000 in damage by throwing rocks at a water pump at a King Coal job site off of Myers Road in Morris Township Tuesday at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Anyone with information should call the police at 857-3800.

Following a traffic stop on Union Street in Ramey yesterday at 9:20 p.m., a Madera man was found to be driving under the influence.

Clearfield Boro
A stop sign was damaged at Daisy Street and Bigler Avenue.

Police investigated retail theft at a Nichols Street business.
---
The investigation continues in a hit-and-run accident in a Nichols Street business parking lot when a known Clearfield man's vehicle backed into another vehicle.
He failed to provide insurance information and left the scene.

Officers are investigating the theft of personal property and medication from an apartment in the 300 block of Ogden Avenue.

Police received a complaint of a dog on the roof at 318 Ogden Ave.

Increased enforcement will be provided on Nichols Street following several complaints of vehicles speeding.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on North Front Street.

Officers assisted Clearfield Fire Department and the state Department of Transportation with a hazardous materials spill.
One lane of Second and East Market streets were closed for several hours while responders cleared the materials.

Lawrence Township
Police checked the welfare of a Hyde couple and found they were OK.

A known woman allegedly harassed a juvenile on Libby Lane.

The harassment incident reported by a former township resident was a civil matter and the person was advised how to proceed.

Low hanging wires reported at Wrigley and Clark streets could not be located. Also, low hanging wires at Clark and Spring streets were reported to Atlantic Broadband.

A verbal domestic dispute reportedly occurred on River Road.

A hit-and-run accident occurred on Plaza Drive near Tractor Supply Co.

The person allegedly taking pictures of people leaving Lowe's had purchased a new phone and was testing the camera and trying to figure out how to get a Wifi signal.

Officers responded to a residence after a 911 hang-up call and found everything was OK.
---
Someone was reportedly operating an all-terrain vehicle back and forth on Turnpike Avenue.

Two women were arrested on summary retail theft charges at Walmart.

Officers were called to TJ Trailer Court off of Lawhead Street on two separate occasions for reports of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
A woman was taken into custody and transported to Clearfield County Jail on a 48-hour detainer. Disorderly conduct and public drunkenness charges were filed, and she will be arraigned and a preliminary hearing will be set for a later date.

The dog reportedly unrestrained on Daisy Street could not be located.

State police at Punxsy
On Sunday, a Mahaffey girl was traveling on her all-terrain vehicle too fast for conditions north on Lee Hollow Road in Newburg as she negotiated a left curve. It left the right side of the road, overturned and came to rest facing northeast.
She was thrown from the ATV, and was transported by Mahaffey Emergency Medical Services to Altoona Regional Health System for treatment of moderate injuries.

Sandy Township
On Sunday, a Reynoldsville man was arrested after he assaulted his girlfriend at a Tozier Avenue residence.

A South Main Street man reported Sunday that his estranged girlfriend had not returned their children, pursuant to a court order.
Officers could not locate her and put out a be on the lookout for her and the children.

Someone slashed a tire on an Eastern Avenue man's vehicle Sunday.

Treasure Lake Security reported someone damaged the fence and door around a propane tank at the comfort station Monday.

The 911 hang-up call at a Kilmer Road residence Tuesday was accidental.
---
On Tuesday, a box fell from the back of a pickup truck driven by a DuBois man onto South Brady Street into the path of a motorcycle operated by a Falls Creek man.
The motorcycle struck the box and went down, skidding across the road.
The Falls Creek man suffered minor injuries.

Two people reportedly going through Dumpsters behind Petco were gone upon police arrival Tuesday.

Lowe's employees reported seeing three males in a silver car drinking beer and smoking marijuana Tuesday, but they were gone when police arrived.

Treasure Lake Security reported someone damaged two toilet seats at New Providence Beach Tuesday.

Officers investigated a report Tuesday of a DuBois man causing a disturbance at a Treasure Lake residence, where the resident was chasing the man with a knife.
It was found that the man was not at the residence or causing a disturbance, but the resident said he saw someone he thought was the DuBois man and chased him.

State police at Philipsburg
On Monday between 7-7:30 p.m. on Walnut Street in South Philipsburg, Rush Township, Shawn Perks of Osceola Mills grabbed an 11-year-old boy by the neck, lifted him off a seat and manhandled him.
During the incident, the boy fell into a clothes dryer and lost a tooth.
Perks was arrested with a warrant yesterday and arraign-ed before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Hoffman.
Bail was set at $15,000 straight and he was remanded to Centre County Correctional Facility to await a preliminary hearing June 6 at the Centre County Courthouse.
