Travel delays possible on SR 1018 next week
Saturday, May 26, 2012
POTTERSDALE - Roadway repair work on state Route 1018 (Pottersdale Road) in Clearfield County could bring short travel delays, starting next week. The 4.7-mile work zone stretches from the SR 1011 (Karthaus Highway) intersection to the Clinton County line.
The repair work includes roadway milling and filling, shoulder backup and seal coating. This work will extend the useful life of the roadway and result in a smoother, safer ride for motorists.
Work is expected to last through June 29.
Drivers will encounter daylight, alternating traffic patterns, enforced by flaggers on the roadway. Short travel delays are possible. Motorists need to be alert for sudden stops.
Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc., State College, will perform this work, under a contract with Enerplus Resources.
