DAILY POLICE LOG Tuesday, February 09, 2010 State police at Clearfield A bicycle was found Jan. 30 on High Street in Woodland. The owner may claim the item at the police barracks. --- An act of criminal mischief occurred between Saturday and Monday when someone damaged a fence at a Mineral Springs location. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800.
Lawrence Township A fight was reported between two students at the Clearfield Middle School. --- Clearfield High School reported that a fight occurred on a school bus. --- Extra patrols will be provided in the Turnpike Avenue area following reports of suspicious activity involving two men. --- The investigation continues into a report of rape and physical assault. --- A suspicious man reported at the Clearfield Mall was found to be waiting for a ride.
State police at DuBois Police are investigating the reported rape of a 9-year-old girl that occurred between December 2008 and January 2010.
Sandy Township On Friday, a Grampian woman was caught attempting to conceal merchandise at Walmart. --- Officers assisted state police in serving a search warrant at a Treasure Lake residence Friday. The investigation continues. --- A hit-and-run involving property damage was reported Friday in Treasure Lake. While officers were at the scene, the individual returned and information was exchanged. --- Police assisted Emergency Medical Services Friday with a medical emergency involving a Treasure Lake man. --- A two-vehicle accident happened Friday on Clear Run Road. A vehicle driven by a Highland Street Extension woman slid on the snow-covered roadway and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a Treasure Lake man. The man was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. --- No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident that happened Friday when a Clearfield woman lost control of her vehicle on DuBois Rockton Road near the intersection of Forsyth Road. The vehicle struck a fixed object. --- The investigation continues into an act of harassment by communications reported Saturday. --- Police are investigating a hit-and-run involving a limousine owned by Fullington Trailways and a brown Chevy Colorado. The Colorado reportedly collided with the limo Sunday and then left the scene.
State police at Philipsburg Police at Philipsburg report an accident occurred Sunday on state Route 322 west of Interstate 99 when a deer ran into the path of a vehicle driven by Lauren O. Smith of Solon, Ohio. Smith struck the deer with the right front of the vehicle. --- Sometime between Wednesday and Thursday, someone cut the filler neck on a truck belonging to Universal Furniture parked on Water Street in an attempt to siphon fuel from the truck. However, the truck contained very little fuel.
