State police at Clearfield
In an act of retail theft yesterday, someone pumped $46.73 of gas into a red short-bed pickup truck at Ken's Stop and Shop in Glen Hope and left without paying.

During a burglary at Interfuse Manufacturing of Woodland between 4 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. yesterday, someone removed several spools of wire and damaged a chain link fence.
The items and damage are estimated at approximately $1,301.66.

The investigation continues into an incident of identity theft that occurred in 2006 when someone used a Woodland man's identification to receive medical treatment in Florida.

Police checked the welfare of an East Pine Street man and found everything to be OK.

Allstate Insurance reported an incident of fraud after a customer received a check and a letter stating the check was provided to aid in the mandatory payment of non-Canadian residential tax. An additional payment would be delivered by a courier company.
The letter was reportedly sponsored by Allstate, but the agency confirms that this is a scam.
Anyone receiving this type of mail is asked to contact police at 765-7819.

A possible theft was reported at a business off River Road.

Following the alleged theft of a vehicle from the Kerr Addition area, an Allport man was arrested and placed in Clearfield County Jail.
Officers were assisted by state police at Clearfield.

The investigation continues by police and the coroner's office after a report of a possible cardiac arrest was received and it was found the individual had died.
State police at DuBois
On Sunday, a two-vehicle accident happened on state Route 255 in Huston Township when Robert Kestler of Penfield lost control of his vehicle, it began to slide and struck a vehicle driven by Faisel El-Awar of St. Marys.
Kestler and a passenger in the El-Awar vehicle, Jacqueline El-Awar, suffered moderate injuries. No other injuries were reported.
State police at Philipsburg
Yesterday at 2 p.m., a white, full-size van backed into the back of a vehicle owned by Graham Masonry of Woodland at Your Building Center in Philipsburg Borough and left without notifying the owner.
The investigation continues.

The investigation continues in a burglary that occurred over the course of several months in Osceola Mills.
