State police at Clearfield
The investigation continues in a robbery at Coalport Minit Mart yesterday morning.
The person of interest is approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, around 150 pounds, was wearing a white hoodie, black gloves, black bandana with white diamonds covering the lower portion of his face, black sunglasses with white frames, black mesh shorts and white thermal bottoms with black boots.
He was reportedly carrying a handgun and after receiving money from the store clerk, he fled on foot.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police 857-3800.

Troopers are investigating and seeking more information in a theft that occurred between Dec. 7 and Saturday at B&B Major Auto Repair in Woodward Township.
Someone arrived in a vehicle and removed a log splitter with the brand name North Star printed on it and after-market metal plates, valued at approximately $1,000, next to the building.

In an incident of theft, someone removed money from a vending machine at Motel 6 over the weekend.

State police at DuBois
Yesterday, a one-vehicle accident happened on U.S. Route 219 in Bloom Township when Helen Sloppy of Irvona lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway, it left the road, traveled up an embankment and overturned.

Laura Heasley of DuBois was not injured Sunday when she lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 80 near mile marker 98, it traveled into the median and struck an embankment.

Sandy Township
Two Maryland residents were arrested Friday for retail theft after Walmart employees caught them attempting to conceal DVDs and PlayStation games. Both admitted to the incident.

State police at Philipsburg
On Sunday, a Pittsburgh man lost control of his vehicle on a slush-covered I-99 in Worth Township, it traveled down an embankment and overturned onto the roof.

Between Saturday and yesterday, someone stole several letters containing checks from a mailbox along Tyrone Pike in Taylor Township.

In an incident of harassment along Hillside Drive off Reese Hollow Road in Worth Township Saturday, a man and woman argued and both claimed they were shoved by the other.

Someone stole various hunting gear from a camp off of state Route 504 in Rush Township in June 2007.
