State police at Clearfield
Officers arrested an Osceola Mills woman Wednesday for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Troy Hill Road in Morris Township.

A hit-and-run accident was reported Wednesday on Bailey Road in Pike Township. Charles Moore of Curwensville reported that a vehicle crossed into his lane of travel and struck the mirror of his vehicle.

Leon Zelensky of Allport was injured Wednesday when his vehicle drifted off of state Route 53 in Morris Township and struck a telephone pole.
The vehicle also struck a tree off the west berm.
Zelensky refused treatment at the scene. The roadway was closed for a short time due to low power lines as a result of the accident. Lawrence Township
Minor injuries were reported in an accident that happened on Montgomery Run Road, where a vehicle struck a pole and ended up in a ditch. The pole had to be replaced.

The investigation continues into a two-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday night. A fire engine from Curwensville was responding to an emergency call in the Goshen area when a car exited Supercenter Drive and failed to stop for a red light at the intersection.
The fire engine attempted to swerve, but could not avoid the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officers are investigating a two-vehicle accident that happened on the Glen Richey Highway. No injuries were reported.
State police at DuBois
Police held a sobriety checkpoint Wednesday from 7 p.m. to midnight on U.S. Route 219 near the Frito Lay Warehouse in Sandy Township.
As a result, 223 vehicles were contacted, one driving under the influence arrest was made, three traffic citations were issued and 12 warnings were written.
State police at Philipsburg
On Wednesday, a burglary happened at a residence at South Front and Presqueisle streets when a known women entered the apartment, assaulted the 45-year-old resident and damaged her belongings before fleeing the scene.

Police will increase patrols in the areas of Hannah and Good streets following complaints of reckless driving.

Someone stole a 1½-year-old brown Shiatsu dog from a woman at Madisonburg Pike in Miles Township, Centre County, Saturday.
