State police at Clearfield Between Aug. 20 and Sept. 20, someone removed an inspection sticker from Kephart Trucking in Bradford Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. --- A 39-year-old Winburne man and an 18-year-old Winburne man were charged with harassment following a physical altercation that occurred Tuesday at a Valley Road residence in Cooper Township.
Clearfield Boro Police arrested a Clearfield man on burglary and related charges. The man allegedly entered a locked apartment and removed cash. He was on probation at the time and was lodged in the Clearfield County Jail. --- A woman in a white mini-van reportedly pumped $12.02 worth of gas at the Uni-Mart along Bigler Avenue and then left without paying. --- A hit-and-run was reported at J.G. Food Warehouse.
Lawrence Township A suspicious vehicle was reported on Village Road. Police spoke to a man who was meeting another person at that location. --- A lost or stolen license plate was reported on South Second Street. --- An act of harassment was reported involving a juvenile girl who was seen harassing another girl at a bus stop in Hyde. --- No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that happened on state Route 879 near the Wolf Run intersection. Eleanor Glace of Clearfield was stopped in traffic when her vehicle drifted forward and struck a vehicle driven by Shayana Buck of Clearfield. --- The investigation continues into a report of suspicious mailings where someone is sending newspaper clippings to a Hillsdale resident. --- Police contacted township supervisors to repair a malfunctioning traffic light at the intersection of West Front Street and River Road. --- An act of harassment by communications was reported when a Curwensville man sent harassing text messages to a Hyde resident.
State police at DuBois Kimberly Huff of Penfield reported that someone damaged the tires on two vehicles that were parked in her driveway between 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
