State police at Clearfield Yesterday, someone pumped gas into a vehicle at Uni-Mart in Curwensville and left without paying. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800. --- A 17-year-old Winburne boy was found to be in possession of a bag of suspected marijuana seeds, three unknown white capsules and one unknown round tablet yesterday at West Branch Area High School. --- Braden Dixon of Frenchville was not injured Sunday when his vehicle crossed the oncoming lane of traffic on state Route 879 in Girard Township and struck the guide rails. --- The investigation continues in a report of terroristic threats and simple assault that happened yesterday on SR 53 between Ninth Street and Morrisdale. An Allport man and Hawk Run man were traveling north on SR 53 when a known man and another man began chasing their vehicle and intentionally struck the back of it three times. The Allport and Hawk Run men stopped at a residence where they were confronted by the two other men, but they fled when learning police had been called. Upon fleeing, a men waved a pistol out the window and threatened to kill one of the men. No injuries were reported. --- Between 4 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. yesterday, someone forced open a door at Nearhoof Machine Inc., Decatur Township, and removed a blue and white 2001 Yamaha 426 motorcycle, and attempted to remove a go-kart but did not get it out the door. The person responsible fled on the motorcycle, heading toward Osceola Mills. The investigation continues and troopers are seeking more information. --- Troopers are investigating a burglary that happened between Oct. 10 and Saturday at a Coudley Station Road residence in Girard Township. Glen Wise of Clearfield reported someone gained entry to his shed and garage and removed several power tools and related items. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Lawrence Township Officers are investigating a traffic accident that happened Sunday night when a Clearfield man's vehicle was forced off the road in the Hyde area. --- An incident of harassment was reported at Edgewood Apartments. --- Residents are warned not to give personal information to unknown callers following a phone scam in which the caller asked for credit card information. --- No injuries were reported in a minor traffic accident on Dairy Lane. --- An Osceola Mills woman was cited for retail theft following an incident at Walmart. --- Officers assisted with a disabled vehicle at the Hyde traffic light. --- No injuries were reported on Old Erie Pike and Scribbers Road when a bus was attempting to turn around in the roadway, a triaxle truck approached and was unable to stop and struck the bus and several mailboxes. --- No one was injured in an accident in which a vehicle driven by a Philipsburg woman entered the intersection at Mount Joy Road and Center Street without proper clearance and it struck a truck driven by a Clearfield woman.
Sandy Township No injuries were reported on Friday when a Sykesville woman was traveling north on U.S. Route 119, she went through a red light and her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by a Reynoldsville man. --- A Reynoldsville woman reported she misplaced an iPod at Kmart Friday. --- Police responded to a domestic dispute that turned physical Friday on Forrest Avenue. --- On Saturday, the brakes on a Mahaffey woman's vehicle malfunctioned, causing it to travel through a stop sign on Central Christian Drive, cross the road and cone to rest against an embankment. No injuries were reported. --- The investigation continues in the theft of a vehicle from Treasure Lake. --- A Rockton woman reported someone damaged her vehicle while she was shopping Saturday. --- A suspicious man reported at the Holiday Inn Express Sunday was determined to be a Treasure Lake man attempting to access the hotel's Internet service. --- The investigation continues after a Hanes Drive resident reported her neighbor's children were outside without supervision and when she tried to take them home, no one was there. When officers responded they found the mother had returned and she told them she had gone to get cigarettes from a friend and when she came back the children were gone. --- Officers responded to the DuBois Mall parking lot Sunday for a dispute between a Reynoldsville woman and a St. Marys man. --- A Treasure Lake boy reported a man, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall wearing dark clothes, assaulted him Sunday while he was walking.
State police at Philipsburg Yesterday, a man lost control of his vehicle on SR 350 south of Sleepy Hollow Road in Rush Township, it struck a fence and utility pole and came to rest in a yard. --- On Sunday, an accident happened on Merengo Road in Halfmoon Township, Centre County, when a driver was negotiating a curved, swerved to miss a deer, and his vehicle left the road and struck at tree. He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. --- Between Wednesday and Friday, an incident of theft occurred when someone cut the wires leading to a snow plow hitch, removed pins and bolts on a dump truck and stole the snow plow hitch, lift arm, lights and plow pump assembly. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 342-3370. --- An accident occurred Friday on Interstate 99 in Worth Township, Centre County, when the back of a vehicle was struck by another vehicle, spun around an came to rest in the southbound lane. Port Matilda Emergency Management Service transported the driver to Altoona Regional Health System. --- The investigation continues in an incident of fraud that occurred in Rush Township when someone used a resident's bank card to make illegal purchases.
State police at Ebensburg Alice Young of Mahaffey was not injured Sunday when she pulled her vehicle into the path of a van driven by a Frank Marana of Florida on SR 553 in Cambria County. Marana was able to slow his vehicle prior to the impact. He and his passenger were not injured. State police at Rockview An accident occurred on Interstate 80 when a driver was traveling east and the tractor-trailer's engine compartment caught fire. Snow Shoe Fire Department extinguished it.
